1. If it's wrong practice then why local police station is accepting applications for PCC..??

2. On CIC website it has been clearly mentioned that PCC can be applied through local town police station for INDIA.

3. Just besides of these lines in the bracket it has been mentioned that "Also, one can get PCC from PSK".

for india applicants, its specially instructed in their manual, to treat certificate as proof..
however, caseworker clerk might object..

its better to have affidavit .. otherwise long wait to resolve such minor things later..

Hello peeps,

After about a 10 day gentle ride, I finally arrived PER village on the 21st of November 2014 at about 830pm Nigerian time. I'm sorry I couldn't notify you guys much earlier as I was enraptured in the beautiful sights of this village. The peace of mind it pprovides is so blissful everyone should experience it.

The personalised welcome note I received on arrival was so beautifully scripted by a young fella named JW. Wonderful, hard working guy who puts in lots of hours to screen visitors. Not an easy job I tell you. Bless his heart.

Anyways, I best get settled in as I'm gonna be here for a Little bit. Need to see a doctor, not so sure when I'd be scheduled to see one. Hopefully not to long.

I'd keep you posted.

Very difficult to say. No idea on what basis the CAPs are reached. My take is that Sept applicants should be safe. Not sure though.

I have a question regarding the passport validity upon passport request. I read somewhere in the forum that passport should at least be 1 year valid. I am a July applicant and received PER Nov. Based on the timeline, i should expect medical in a month or so and then a month after for passport request.

If they request my passport in February 2015 and the passport is only valid until August 2015, is it a ground for not getting a visa?

If i apply for a new passport, are they going to accept it?

The passport validity is not a reason for rejection, but when they ask for your passport for visa stamping, it should have atleast six month validity. You can renew your passport till then, and later on send the updated passport copy to your local vo.

Bro,
for PCC dont request PSK because you will get dates for PCC after 50 dates. Better contact local commissioner office. Fill the form and pay the fees-> take that filled form to your area police station and they will fill your details and two witness and give clear report, which needs to submitted to commisioner office and Commissioner office will issue PCC with two days after submitting report from local police station. Total duration is 5 days Max.

If rejected, will it be returned sooner than 3 months in order to rectify the issue and resend the application ? Or it will take the same amount of time whether accepted or rejected ? Sorry there is not a good search mechanism on the pages of this site to read similar questions and their replies in the previous pages. And the pages are too much to go through
