I am applying for NOC 2241 and have 5 years of experience in this NOC.
To gain two more points to qualify for FSWP, I am planning to show experience in NOC 2283 (Software testing).
Will I get point for NOC 2283 (it is not listed in the eligible NOC's list for this FSWP program---but is listed in the NOC 2011 edition under Skill category B)???

Please help I am waiting your response as I have to apply ASAP Huh Huh

Yes, as PMed to you, you can get points for experience in all O, A and B NOC categories whether or not they are part of the 50 eligible NOCs for immigration.
Only thing to ensure is that you need to have at least 1 year of experience in one of the 50 Eligible NOCs to qualify.
In your case you do. So go ahead.

Hello peeps,

After about a 10 day gentle ride, I finally arrived PER village on the 21st of November 2014 at about 830pm Nigerian time. I'm sorry I couldn't notify you guys much earlier as I was enraptured in the beautiful sights of this village. The peace of mind it pprovides is so blissful everyone should experience it.

The personalised welcome note I received on arrival was so beautifully scripted by a young fella named JW. Wonderful, hard working guy who puts in lots of hours to screen visitors. Not an easy job I tell you. Bless his heart.

Anyways, I best get settled in as I'm gonna be here for a Little bit. Need to see a doctor, not so sure when I'd be scheduled to see one. Hopefully not to long.

It will be. Check ECAS (though not really reliable). else if not reflecting even after a long time, then write a CSE to your VO.

NoC. 2132 , increase from 532 to 596 from previous cap update . There's is only increase of 64 .this means there are only 64 applicant in this category in August .hence in my opinion it will last for another two months . Please comment on this .

It will be capped in the next update ... Same trend observed for 217X.

As I am resending the application back to CIO which was returned back due to lack of foreign educational qualification documents, so now could it be possible to change the method of payment from CC to DD ?

Which is the most preferred and safest method as I don't want to bear any risk on this ?

If its DD then it should be in the favour of "THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" right ?

I having few doubts on DD part :
1) Where the DD need to be payable. Any specific city in Canada or whole Canada ?
2) Which are the preferred banks. As I am living in Thailand, so local THAI banks DD will do or I need to get from the International Banks like CITIBANK, Standard Chartered etc....

DD is definitely a safer option.
1) Where the DD need to be payable. Any specific city in Canada or whole Canada ? - City need not be mentioned. It is entire Canada.
2) Which are the preferred banks. As I am living in Thailand, so local THAI banks DD will do or I need to get from the International Banks like CITIBANK, Standard Chartered etc.... - Any bank DD is ok as it is a prepaid instrument and will not bounce once issued.

Is PCC from local town police station is acceptable or Would I have to go for Passport office for PCC..?? (Country India)

As per CIC website

For districts other than the Punjab:
Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.

For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.

Non-Resident Requests
Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate.

11 july...............today got app back

in the cic letter its says your application do not meet requirements under regulation 10 of IRPA (which means the app needs to be complete in all respect)


in the next page they have highlighted one point which is wrong NOC..... i am a nurse 3012 but i applied in other nurse category 3233....so they have pointed that/......so is the reason my app is back....

i have filled the forms again already with the corrected NOC................also recieved al the supplement docs back...

I thought Bsc Nurses can apply under 3233. Will it be a problem? Both 3012 and 3233 are nurses category. Is there any specific reason they are saying you can apply only for 3012
