Wait before your application is transferred to the local visa office. Then mail them a photocopy of your passport along with a cover letter describing the situation. I think such typos are minor issues they are able to deal with ease.

I think passport validity or minimum validity required is nowhere mentioned in CIC website. please share detail if you have regarding passport expiry.

E.g. For IELTS , they have mentioned , it should not be more than 2 yr old on application received date.

I think you are going to face two problems under those times. First, probably CIC will not be receiving apps late december due to holidays (not official, just a guess), so your app may end up being delivered in January. That poses a risk if Ministerial instructions cut FSW short.

Secondly, your application will definitely enter review between 80-90 days after arriving, so there is a chance that your passport is expired when it comes to officer's review, which would certainly lead to rejection.

My advice would be to renew passport as soon as posible and apply after that, wether on FSW (if no ministerial instructions are issued) or by Express Entry.

Yes use of black pen and write your surname and date of birth. Need to be singed and dated by the endorser

Visa Office =London Visa Office
PER= 14th August,2014

My Phone number has changed which i had mentioned in the Generic Application Form (IMM0008) as my Primary Phone Number.
I already got my PER on 14th August 2014 and currently my application status is "In Process" with a single line mentioning that "1- We received your application for permanent residence on May 8, 2014."

1) How can i update my new Phone Number to London Visa Office ? Should it be through a letter or email ?


I need an urgent response please .Awaiting response ASAP.
