$550 was your application fees, this $490 is going to be your RPRF fees (*Right to Permanent Residence Fees) also known as landing fees :) now shred some more bucks :P :P :P

Ladies and gentlemen,

While on the ride to PER village, I decided to stop over at ECAS rest spot to check out the forecast as I already had a UCI members only pass.
The forecast read "in progress - we received your application on the 29th of July 2014."

I believe PER village is in sight... Right?

Just thought to inform you guys.

Off on my bike.... Zooooooooooooom

Yes it is just on the first right :P :P

Good Luck

Hi to all,

I have a question, my husband convinced his employers to have his reference letters be done in English even though our countries official language is Spanish.

Because he is sending copies of those English reference letters, do they have to be notarized by public notary?

Do Spanish once have to be notarized by public notary or just translated by official translator?

Thanks!!!

Re: NOC 2171 - Application sent yesterday, could it be picked up?

Hi,

I am new to this forum and overwhelmed to see lot of discussions happening around.Good!

I've sent my application for NOC 2171 yesterday and not sure if it can considered as there are very few seats left.

Query: Online against the 2171 NOC it shows that 553 seats are filled now, how to interpret it? - Does that mean that so far they have closed 553 seat in NOC 2171 and If I am not wrong then they are processing with August'14 files. That means they are left up with another 4 months of files so I guess chances are very less. What's your opinion?

Please advise seniors, will I also get my application returned back with original documents that I've sent.

Best Regards,
Just4FSW

Hello Dear,

I am 24th Sept applicant and worrying whether in cap or not because data shown online is not correct.Recently we saw data is 699 for 2173 and then immediately in 3 days they have filled the cap and no one charged after that.Though I am not senior, however, suggest you,you have taken one step so do not much worry keep your hope alive and start preparing for EE like me.

Dear Seniors,
Need some suggestion.

My total points are 67 and recently my wife has scored 5.5 in IELTS (GEN) and because of which i can get 5 additional points and toal points can be 72.

Can i send original IELTS TRF to CIC ? If yes , then what details should i mention on envelope. There can be risk of having equivalent points as required.

Avinir

If you are sure about your 67 points then no need to worry.Because there will no extra advantage of 5 points.
With regard to whether you can send this as addendum or not,I am not sure.only seniors can suggest.

Dear Members,

As I had received back my application with UCI number, so sending back the again soon with updated forms and a copy of foreign educational credentials.

I would like to check whether the application will be re-verified once again for the points or the CIO had kept the records for the points.

As I am having 79 points in total. Out of which I had claimed 5 points for my wife's sister living in Canada.

But due to a mistake in the parents name for my wife and her sister, I had submitted the affidavits. So in order to get rid of any confusion due to parents name for them I would like not to claim those 5 points.
So would like to go ahead with 74 points (after taking 5 points out) incase CIO haven't recorded any status from the application documents which they sent back.

Looking for your kind advices.

Thanks,

Regards,

Parm
