Hi dear all. I also got the email from NDVO at 9.08 am for CIIP and this is my second invitation for CIIP. Earlier I had received the same on 15th September. But being in Nepal, this time also I wont be able to attend the session.

I have a question. My husband can get the job offer. so my questions are..
1) Do we need LMIA?
2) Is it okay if we get the only job offer letter (Stating that the employer wants to hire Mr. xyz....)
3) what are the chances of getting PR after job offer?
4) LMIA is a compulsion then what is the procedure ? and what are the chances of getting PR then?

I am a qualified Mechanical Engineer, also hold a Certificate of Competency to work as a Marine/Mechanical Engineer Officer from Maritime and Port Authority, Singapore according to www.Stcw.org and International maritime Organisation.

Is the the kind of certification you are talking about or do I need to get equivalent Canadian Certifications?

I have also applied for FSW 14 and my application reached CIO on 20 October, 2014 under NOC 2132 (Mechanical Engineers), waiting with fingers crossed.

If thats the case they would end up interviewing a lot of prople. If every pending MR is to be scheduled for interview then what are they waiting for??
People are waiting from Early Sep with 2nd Line and no MR.
Hopefully things go well!!!

I wanted an advice. I am a 12 th may applicant. Got per on 19 august...2nd line update on 3rd november. Since 90 days are over and i havnt received my MR. Is it advisable to send an inquiry letter to NDVO? Or shall i keep cool nd wait?

Sugar is checked in urine sample, not in blood... only when urine sample indicates sugar, then you are requested to do additional tests..

I have a question regarding the medicals. I have talked to physician; and he said that in blood work he is only testing for HIV and Syphillis.

Are they also testing for diabetes?

I have inquired from HDFC bank they said your DD (Canadian high commission INR 8200 payable at New Delhi ) has been encased on 12 NOV 2014 ..my new born baby added to my application ..
My ECAS status showing 'we have started processing your application on 13 nov 2014 .....
Bit till now I haven't received MR mail ..
Can u please suggest is der any problem with my application...
When actual back ground started ...before second line update or after second line update ?
