Till date I have been a passive spectator in this forum... just reading the msgs..... my time has come to contribute!!
My NOC 2132 with DD mode of payment and my appln reached CIC around 8th Aug (applied thro' a consultant)....I just got verbal confirmation from my bank that my DD has been encashed by CIC.....Hope to receive PER mail soon...
Hope this news will give a +ve feel for some forum members who hv given DD and submitted appln around Aug 1st week.

What if you had TB and now healed from it over three years ago. Will NDVO still have a problem with it and will they reject medicals ? Please help me find an answer to this. Thanks

Same query, what if someone had TB at 30 years ago, and healed of it, will NDVO reject it, since I heard for TB old scars may still show?

NDVO doesn't reject...they ask you to undergo more tests to dismiss an active TB...even if those tests are +ve they will prescibe u 6 months DOTS medication to cure it, and meanwhile put your app on hold...

That's what I've gathered so far...I might be wrong..

Hello everyone,

Need some urgent replies, am 31st July applicant. DD issued from Kotak Mahindra bank on 23 July. They have some sort of tieup with Royal bank of canada for issuing DDs. Just tracked with the bank and they have stated that the instrument (i.e. DD) has gone stale. as they claim that as per RBI and International guidelines all DDs go stale after 3 months and no further information can be found regarding the claimed DD. Am in real anxiety and do not know what my chances are or what will happen to my application. have applied under 1123.

Please share if anyone has gone through similar situation.

Seniors ... I see that NDVO applicant taking DD for RPRF amount. Why do we need to go that rout especially since the MR email provides a link to pay this amount online ?

Also if we pay this amount online. when do we pay.. before submitting the documents or at the time of submitting the MR/PCC/additional doc requested?

Paying by DD costs less and it is flat amount of 26700/- per adult. Online you will be paying by CC in CAD dollars and CAD to INR exchange rates will apply. In addition to that bank charges will also apply on CC.

I would rather pay the amount after my medicals are done and received by NDVO.

1. DD is safe & secure though slow to get encashed. CC is fast in encashing, but never know with that.
2. You can pay online any time after RPRF email but need to sent the receipt along with MR receipt/PCC/ Bio pages and if any other docs requested by VO.

Great news. Just find out my CC has been charged yesterday 19-Nov for NOC 2171.

App received date 28 Aug.



I will update the SS and give further update later today.

Many of us were eagerly waiting for this news bro that 2171 will cross August atleast! Congrats and best wishes! +1
