Buddy,

It can be:

1. Phone call to the mentioned referee on the job letter
2. Email to the mentioned referee on the job letter
3. Physical verification at work place etc .

Any body guide me.

My designations in company.

1. Jr. XXX
2. XXX
3. Sr. XXX

I have each reference letter of different positions held in company with Job description matching to NOC JD.

My Question is in Generic Application Form , Current occupation ? what i have to write ? Which Designation ???? The target NOC or the present designation i am serving ?

Jr. XXX
Then XXX
And then Sr. XXX!

Have you worked on those blue movies? :P ;) :D ;D just kidding

That's where you've to write your current occupation / designation. NOC for which you're claiming points has nothing to do with this field.

Financial managers (FM) can be assistant FM and can be senior FM and their is no separate NOC for Assistant FM or Senior FM. So one can either fall in 1111 (Accountants/Auditors) of 0111 (FM). Read the specific requirements of NOC on NOC page and if you have required level of experience and required level of qulaification as per NOC page, i believe you may apply under 0111 category.

Dear Forum friends,

I have applied NOC 0111. But my experience match only with previous company. What is the procedure to chk back ground verification by CIC? Because my ex employer never provide the original info about me because at the time of job left there were lot of argument with him and crash the relation forever.

So is there any chance for me to get positive by CIC?

Regards,

Somnath

Well, did you provide a Letter Of Reference for your previous employment ?

If yes - who signed/attested it ?

Background checks, if made, generally involves a call to the undersigned authority mentioned in the LOR, which is usually your Manager or the HR.

I heard or read some where that separate UCI is generated for each family member in the app. I have my old UCI from study and work permit. My wife is the principal applicant so my old UCI will be used and can I use the same to check the status online?

U can try with that UCI ...No issue...

Here is the link for ECAS.....:)

Verification are random and not that much common....If they dont find any feedback from ur employer then they will contact with u.....Dont worry....

General Medical Exam Stuff here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

(1) Urinalysis (protein, glucose and blood by dipstick — if blood positive then microscopic report required) for applicants five (5) years and over.
(2) Serological test for syphilis for applicants fifteen (15) years and over.
(3) HIV testing for applicants fifteen (15) years of age and over, as well as on those children who have received blood or blood products, have a known HIV positive mother, are potential adoptees, or with an identified risk. An ELISA HIV screening test should be done for HIV 1 and HIV 2.
(4) Serum creatinine if the applicant has hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune disorder, persistent proteinuria, or kidney disorder.
And other tests as mandated by the DMP handbook.

DMP Handbook PDF here:

Hi All,

I heard from someone that it will be problem/difficult to get PR or visa for them, who never traveled abroad or first time applying. Means there passport is fresh no visa stamp of any country on it.

Is it true ?

hi Manish!! How are you? +1 for you dude on your per......

It is not true.......... if it was required, CIC would have mentioned it in their minimum qualification.. isnt it?

Thanks a lot for the help. Just need to confirm is this should be typed on a bond paper or simple white sheet is fine.

I mean how we could know they "opened" 1000 packages but not 800 or, even lower, 600?
The numbers updated on official site does not seem to be reliable. I bet next update we'll see a sudden jump for 2132 and 2171 from 5XX to 1000.

You are absolutely right that nobody knows that how many packages/parcels of applications are accumulated in their office. For example for NOC2132 and NOC2171, maybe there are piles of applications accumulated in their CIO (Central Intake office). But maybe from these all applications they are able to open and qualify only 500 applications due to their extremely slow processing speed. Now they will simply reflect these 500 applications in the update of received applications on their website. But rest received applications might be 3000 lying in their cabinets which needs to be opened on "first come first served" basis. So, really it could be the way. Because too many applicants are sending applications every day. So, only few of these applications parcels get opened each day and rest are enqueue. So, at any moment of time when update is done on CIC website about applications received, it just reflects the parcels opened not the parcels lying on their tables unopened.. And when you will submit your application it will be at the end of that "Unknown number of N-applications ahead of your application parcel"

Seniors please comment.
