Canol .....in my case it took 3 months for NDVO to generate MR after PER ...
and God know when they will start with PPR's flood ...they stopped only after 2 PPR's.

So as per my idea to get correct dates...always start seeing

if looking for MR then see your PER date, and try to refresh your email box after exactly 2/3 months(+/- 3 days).

if looking for PPR then see after MR date and refresh mailbox after 1/2/3 months exactly (+/- 2-3 days).

Rest either God knows or NDVO wale knows kisko kab kya bhejna hai (whom to send what and when)

will there be a problem if we dont update our tax status? we got married last aug and we applied for fsw and our marital status is not yet married on our tax but we have the marriage cert already. pls help thanks

In my opinion no issues as far as marriage certificate is sent with application.

Please advise what should be next step for me as i have just submitted my application.15 Nov.
How much is the mean wait time for CC charged at present.
Is there any link of thread where I can go through various stages of the whole process and is written by some senior about his journey.
I will give me some idea about the whole process as I am lehman to procedure.

it will take around 4 months to achieve 1st milestone "PER". Total process will complete in between 6 to 8 months depending on the visa office if things work out smoothly.

I have been to both countries, so let me give you a simple overview.

"Just pull and stretch UK or expand it... and you have Canada!", same streets, roads but far open.. same quality of life (perhaps better), oh well you will miss TFL (Transport for London) though , since apparently London has got the best Transport system but again you can get around in buses in Canada too

Ohk that's useful info! I think weather in Canada is better, proper winters with snow but also very nice and sunny summers with decent sunshine during spring and fall so each season is distinctly different compared to UK which I think has only two seasons - cold monsoon and warm monsoon ;D

Better quality of life is probably due to cheaper housing (because such as large landmass) and much lower taxes compared to almost any European country!

Now i received an email on 20-10-2014 midnight which says my application has now been placed into processing and they gave me a UCI no. Now what happens next please tell me?

It is fine. Your new passport will anyways have the old passport no. mentioned on it.

Hi all,

I am a 2173 applicant whose application reached CIC on Sep 11. As 2173 capped, I am planning to apply again under another NOC 0112 human resources managers which I have been working with during the last year.

The issue is I have no certification about Human Resource Management. My ECA is all about Software Engineering. My understanding is that it is the job description, not education or job title, that decides the NOC you are eligible for. So my question is can I apply under NoC 0112?
