Hello everyone, me and my wife are from different countries. do we need to submit two marriage certificates? one from my country one from hers?

Do you actually have two marriage certificates on hand? I think it is not necessary, one certificate is enough as it is legally issued, shows your names, date of marriage and stuff like that.

I am going to send my application tomorrow hopefully as everything is complete. Just a couple of questions before I send it:

1. I have attached additional sheets where space given on forms wasn't enough. Do I have to sign those sheets? As per CIC instructions, applicant just has to put his/her name, form title and question no. addressed.

2. There are a couple of things in my supporting documents which I wanted to elaborate on, therefore, I shall attach some explanatory notes. Do I write them as a letter to CIC, address someone particularly and sign it OR just give write the statement.

For any additional sheet, provide minimum, the name of the form, your full name, DoB, UCI (if you have), and passport number at the top. Give the question number and answer it. At the end, provide your name, signature, and date (I did it).

Submit one marriage certificate only....This should suffice....

I am confused abt PCC (Gujarat).

How should I apply for PCC for me and spouse.

Somebody is saying to apply through local town police station which will be issued within week.

Some one told that first get PCC from town police station and then apply to PSK.

How should I apply ...pl help me to understand. ??? ??? :-\ :-\

can some one give me the mail id from which NDVO send the MR mail. My second line got update 5 days ago no MR yet. I am very nervous. please help

Try to Contact with ur bank's foreign exchange section to know this info....

Allow atleast 3-3.5 months to encash ur DD...

sent app on 10/14. it reached 14/11 at CIO.

Any MR's issued today by NDVO? What is the date till they have issued?!

Latest issued MR is 16 June from NDVO couple of days ago (those were random dates MR). But now looks like they have again started from May end and June first week.

Dont worry, I am also 11th Aug 14 applicant (as spouse)....Mine has not been charged yet...

So keep patience...
