Hi Guys,

Need some advice on what to do, my application reached CIC in September, but i recently moved to a new country with a different Visa office.

I have 2 questions

1.) Should i wait to be debited before initiating a change of Visa Office

2.) Also how do i initiate a Visa office change if i have to.

Experienced in the house will really need your opinion

Hi Everyone,

Can somebody throw light on which are the next hot NOC's which will get capped? (after 2174,1112,2173...)

Also, any guess on when will CIC update the Cap on its website next?

Regards,

1) Yes. There is no way of notifying CIC before you get your PER and UCI# since CIC won't even have your information until that happens.
2) Once you get your PER, you can request CIC through case-specific-enquiry and also your old visa office by emailing them to change your visa office.

The next NOCs to be capped will likely be 2171, and then 2132. When CIC will update cap is anyone's guess.

Main question so far.

Who is asleep today?

1) CIO
2) SS-enlisted applicants.

I'd bet they were tired from the weekend and / or on internal meetings.

Aren't Mondays usually calmer anyway?

PS: looks like somebody is anxious for their PER, don't get cranky again :p

Thanks!

Also, I read it from SS latest CC is of 14th,Aug and PER of 23rd,July...

I hope CIC busy now, but I guess they will surely update the Cap figures either if some more NOC'S gets Cap-filled or latest by 1st week of December.

DD negotiation TIme line !!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear DD applicants
I just got this message from my Bank RBC

"Your DD was negotiated on 13th NOV 2014"
please note that the same was presented by CIC on 6th NOV 2014
and PER was sent to me on 16th NOV 2014

(1) Even if the DD is from Canadian Bank it takes about 7-8 days to negotiate.
(2) it seems that CIC does not wait to get the DD negotiated and once
the present the DD , they start the process of sending your PER.

so DD applicants do not worry , hope for the best and keep patience.
Best of Luck

Interesting! Thanks for sharing and for your PER +1.

We've also seen several users with PER and the bank saying the DD wasn't even cashed yet.

Re: MONEY ORDER OUT OF DATE

Just received the e-mail below from the bank that issued my money order. My app was received on July 31st, NOC 0911 and according to the spreadsheet I should have been already encashed. ??? ??? ???

Now I am starting to get really worriied

After contacting our processing department, the money order is still outstanding that means the " receiver general" did not receive the chq, and it has not been cashed.

If you want the money returned to you or to make another chq you would have to sign a "bond of indemnity" that is a document that says if at some point the first money order is cashed after we replace it then you will be responsible for the amount.

Let me know if this is all the info you need.

Hay do not worry !
Same thing happened with me
My bank said DD outstanding on 6th NOv, 8th NOv, 12th Nov, 13th Nov
and I lost all hope, the suddenly on 16th Nov (Sunday) I recd my PER
and now, today my bank says your DD was negotiated on 13th Nov
so brother " Do not loose hope"

Good news might be round the corner !!!!
