Hi, is there anybody here in fswp 2013 and 2014 or hear of someone's application whose demand draft got staled and not encashed but cio requested for fresh dd and application got approved? Pls share.
My app was received last may 14,2014 and dd got staled last october but no news yet and no returned documents.

i need some information regarding PR .. after sending passport what is the time of giving visa?

I need to know about CPP-O visa office one.

I am in the process of switching to a new job in US but i am not sure whether i can sign for one year contract or not .. right now I am in the process of submitting RPRF and medical and PCC..

Average days from Passport Sent to Visa Issued for Ottawa is around 8 days as per the SS

Hi Everyone,

I have a friend who is applying for FSW. I am helping her as much as I can but on the 'General Application Form', she is having a problem with question 11 'Date & Place of your last entry to Canada'. My friend says that once she inputs the answer for Question 10 'Country of Residence' (which is not Canada) it blocks out (gray scale) Question 11. She had visited Canada in August and she doesn't want them to think she is hiding anything since she is unable to type in the information. Should she write in the information?

Anyone, please respond urgently as she want to courier her documents this week.

Dont worry.
When it shades out, that means, you dont have to fill that "Last entry in Canada".
However, you need to specify your travel details in Travel form.
So dont write any thing of your last entry on "IMM0008ENU"
If you have any doubts refer to "Guide 7000 - Application for Permanent Residence_ Federal Skilled Worker Class".
Guide 7000 is mostly explains all the scenarios.

It takes 40-50 days for PPR after submission of medicals.
Plan accordingly.

Hello everyone, i was refused a US tourist visa when I was underage. Will that affect my application? as in the Background declaration form they ask if i was ever refused a visitors visa to ANY country. My family reaplied later for that tourist visa and was accepted. I just wanted to know if I should say yes or no as all the other questions in that section are pretty dodgy. I think i should say yes and give a brief explanation in the given space. What are your thoughts?

Today, I went to give medicals. So CIC should get medical results in 3-4 days.

I am sending PCC(US and India) and PRPF receipt today.

My timelines:

NOC: 2173
Date of application: June 2, 2014
VO: CPC-Ottawa
CC charge: 18-Sep
PER: 25-Sep
MR request: 13- Nov.

If MR, PCC and PRPF reaches CPC-O in next 3 days, any idea when PPR will be sent ?

Of course you should say YES. You should never blatantly lie in the application. A refusal is a refusal is a refusal even if you were given the visa in a second try. If you said NO and CIC finds out, you will be banned from applying and entering Canada for two years due to misrepresentation.

You can sign the contract for a year, no problem (if you actually don't want to move to Canada right away). You can complete your landing and then continue to live in the USA for at most 3 years. You only need to live in Canada for 2 years within the 5 years after landing to be able to renew your PR card.
