Hi all!
I sent my app on the 16th of Oct 2014 under 2171(BA). I did not send my birth cert as i had applied for it and was waiting. but i attached a letter stating the reason and also attached 2 other documents as proof of DOB. i have now received the birth cert. should i send the cert to the address we send the application to or should i wait till my CC is charged + PER is generated? will my application be regarded as incomplete 'coz of missing birth cert?

Thanks in advance.

For proof of funds is a banker letter with balance confirmation enough or account statement should also be enclosed. My account transfers balance to MOD account which is a time deposit which only shows the balance on the first page of account statement. but the detailed account statement shows current savings account balance which does not include MOD balance.

so is the banker letter with balance confirmation enough ?

It is okay. I used bank statement showing when account was opened, current balance and average balance over a period of 3 months and I have already received my PER.

Looks like we won't have a explosive Monday this time as we had last week where hot NOC's got charged randomly ... :)

Applied in NOC 1114 - Other financial Officer which responsibilities are exactly matched with my profession..... I just need to whether I am eligible or not. Coz I studied in English and working in Bank.... can any body help me regarding this...Pls pls pls..... thanx

Education and Work experience are totally independent., you should be fine . Worst case scenario they might call you for an interview to ask about your duties and all that. ;D

If an applicant completed Engineering and MBA, to claim his credential equivalency does he need to send both his degrees to WES?

Looks like he send just his MBA to WES, in this scenario he wil just get 19 points?

Please advice.

Yes you need to send both degress to WES for evaluation

LOL! That is risky one too as CIO may make an early decision on my app, otherwise I would try that!

No risk, no reward. ;D

Simple. If your job duties match with the NOC job duties, you are eligible.

It is not mandatory to have a field of study which matches your profession as long as your job duties match well with your primary NOC. You will not be rejected because your have a degree in English instead of finance.

There are two ways of submitting passports..either u travel to and from or send it with a friend and ask somebody to finish the process.
I recommend the first choice..always do by yourself brings perfection. For second question i cannot tell an exact answer..

Dear All,

My query is how they do the background check? Anybody can please enlighten on this?
Because my NOC is not match with my present company profile. So I had applied with details where I worked from 2004 to 2010.

But nobody will give them proper info if they enquire there because I had a clash with them when I left that company.

Please advice.

Regards,
