TOO early, :o
You can start posting ur profile into some top Job portals, (this exercise can be started)
Employer/Hr can see status of your location from profile so they do not give you a call/email till u land there.

Dear Friends
Can anobody solve my dilemma of sending RPRF ,whether by draft or online payment.
I suppose it has to be sent to NDVO.If it has to be draft in CAD it has to be in favour of Receiver General for Canada
payable at?If it has to be draft in USD it has to be infavour of Consulate General of Canada but again where payable
is not clear. Anybody who has been through the process or has some knowledge may share.

hey all. i'm an august applicant. i kind of forgotten exactly when i sent my application (mid august) and just lived on with my life to not be anxious about it. i haven't really received anything yet except for confirmation that my application was received from fedex. now does this mean no news is good news and i just have to wait for their response any time soon?

Interesting not a single 217* charged last couple of days. Most likely team that review IT nocs went to a holiday or something. :P :P :P

Hey Zstream,

That freakish incident of 2171 and 2173 getting charged for apps of 27th august was just an odd and might have happened by mistake. After that day it has become normal again. I expect 2171 to go till end of september at least. So chill out and wait for good times!!

LOLZ, not yet... 8)

Keep a copy of the draft with you, refer3nce number mentioned on the draft can be used to track its encashment later on.

Payment of Fees

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) CAD490 or INR26,700 per adult.

From what I have been reading on this forum, it is taking CIC about 100 to 120 days to charge the application. Also, CIC has started charging Aug appln. depending upon when it was received you should hear from them soon.

Seniors please add on.

Relax and chill!

Thank you brother. +1 for your updating intention. ;D ;D ;D
