Sit back and relax for another 2 - 3 weeks .. currently 21st Jul DD applicants have reported PER's

Hey..I am also 5th Aug....but we can check with Bank if DD has been encashed. The 21st July applicant has PER but if I read DD encashments, that was almost 10 days ago. This mean, DD may be encashed any time this week?

Experts/seniors: What are your views?

I am a 17 July applicant but have not got my PER yet. My cc was charged on 1st Nov....

I could see that some 18 July applicants have already got their PER. Is it a reason to worry?? Shall I send an email to CIC asking for status?? Please advise.

Dear Mods,

My friend is applying in few days. He is with me in Toronto. As per the check list, its mentioned that we need to include 2 self addressed mailing labels one in English or French and the other in official language of your country of residence.

As we are residing in Toronto, i just gave a thought. Should not the second label be in the language from our country of origin ?
In our case India ?

Congrats for receiving the PER. Dont worry about the ECAS status when you have enough reasons to be happy. Stay positive and try checking back after a few days

You will getting some good news soon .. If you feel better, Send an email to CIC .. It will take 30 - 45 days time ..

Few 18 & 21st July applicants have reported PER. CIC will be working on clearing the older dates backlog as well.

Hi All,

According to CIC website, submitting PCC with initial application seems to be obligatory. I lived in USA for 2 years a couple years back. So I will have to submit a FBI PCC as well, which I will have to submit later on, as it takes several months for FBI to issue a PCC. But what about PCC from my country, Bangladesh, where I currently live? It must be submitted right now, or is it optional and could I send it later on, along with the FBI PCC?

PCC is not mandatory to submit along with your application.
CIC will request for PCC later stages
Dont wait for PCC.

there is a chance that you can be within the cap..we have to wait for 2 more weeks...i am also 15 AUG 2173 applicant..if it turns our against our favour...and your employer can provide arranged employment then you can also apply at any time because there is no cap limit for a person having arranged employment..so its a WIN WIN situation for you..goood luck !!!

Hi Experts, I am a 2nd Sep Applicant. Noc :2171. Mode of payment is DD. I sent a mail on 29th Oct asking for status. Till now, no communications from CIO. Kindly let me know the following :

1. Is Completeness check over for me ?
2. If completeness check is over , when should i be assured that my DD will be charged ?
3. Approx date for PER ?
