Blunder full procedures at WES.
One guy submitted his original certificates to WES by mistake thinking that WES might need originals to verify that copies are taken from the orignal certifiates. Later on after getting his ECA, he requested WES to return back to him his original documents. So read below response of the WES customer service, which reveals their horrendous internal SOPs and mal-practices and negligence towards the documents that we prepare after extremely hard work and paying a lot of money:-

“World Education Services (WES) doesn't require original documents for its international academic evaluation services. At WES, it is a practice that all documents, after imaging them to the WES database, the documents are purged. We only have images of the documents which you have submitted, and we can release copies to you. Please let me know if you would like to receive photocopies of the documents which you have submitted to WES. Thank you. WES Customer Service Department “

EVERYONE BECAREFULL. AND NEVER SEND THEM YOUR ORIGINAL DEGREES, CERTIFICATES AND CREDENTIALS BECAUSE THOSE WILL BE SIMPLY PURGED BY WES WITHOUT ANY MERCY.

Regards,
George

Thanks mate.. even I am thinking in that direction only... I must go for verification as it is only a matter of a half band.

Why don't you ask for re-verification and at the same time sign up and prepare for another exam? A higher score will only help you during express entry if that's what you need to apply for. Also, re-verification can backfire and reduce your score. So it's better to get the ball rolling on another test.

It is very clearly stated in WES's website to not send originals as they won't be returned back.

Never go for reverification because they are stubborn people. They are going to be the judge of their own mistake and the result you know that someone who commits a crime and he himself is made a judge for his crime the result will be that no cirme is comitted at all.
Moreover it will take around 6-8 weeks for the final result of reverification. Whereas re-exam result will come within 13 days. Better to go for re-exam.

I am not sure if changes in the composition of additional family members need to be updated. BUT, there definitely is no harm in doing so. If you already have your PER, then either send a case-specific enquiry to CIC or contact your visa office with the update. At most, you would need to send them an updated additional family form marking your father as "deceased."

Dear Friends,

I am a NOC 1112, NDVO applicant. received PER on the 12th November. I want to seek opinion of the esteemed forum members and will greatly appreciate your perspective on my questions.

Since I sent my application, there have been following changes to my application.

1. I have renewed my passport and therefore have a new passport now
2. We have been blessed with a child

I am planning to send the updated application forms, documents, proof of funds and additional application fee to NDVO without them specifically asking for all of this. I hope this would help me avoid one extra layer of request and response with the VO. I have already sent a CSE enquiry to NDVO informing them of these changes to my application and asking them what actions do I need to take.

I am planning to send the following pro-actively

1. Updated Generic Application Form
2. Updated Additional Family Info forms
3. Updated Proof of Funds
4. Photographs, birth certificate and passport copy of my newborn
5. Copy of my new passport
6. Updated Fee payment form
7. Additional CAD150 fee
8. PCC
9. A cover letter explaining my situation and documenting all enclosures

My questions are:

1. Is it correct to send all these documents to NDVO without them specifically asking for these
2. If I'm paying the additional CAD150 through a demand draft, should the demand draft be payable in Canada or India?
3. Will this help me get the MR for all my family members (including the new born) when I get the MR
4. Where should I send these documents? Which address of NDVO? Is it, Immigration Section - Service de l'Immigration, 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209 New Delhi 110021 India.
5. Does anyone think that I should rather wait for NDVO to contact me before sending all of these?

Please provide me your perspective on this. Looking forward to hear from all of you.

If you cant show job duties for your previous company then i dont think you can claim points for that expereince. Yes, there have been dicussions regarding an applicant's immediate supervisor providing the reference letter and a sworn affidavit on this thread. I am not very sure about that topic and would leave it to other seniors to comment on. But i would want to share my case with you. I work for oracle and could not get experience letter as i am still an employee. The company policies stop HR from providing exp letter before the employee quits. So i did not claim points for my tenure in oracle. But i shud tell u that the HR was ready to give the letter once i would be off their rolls. So am not sure if cic will have any opinions of big companies not giving reference letter. If i were you, i would be worried about what cic review officer would think of you providing a reference letter from an individual when it is for a big gun company. Consult with seniors on the forum if its fine for you to explain all these on your cover letter. Also check the ss for rejection remarks for job duties.

Ask your previous employer to give you a letter stating that you were employed with them from the period of time. You can then attach a self declaration of your job responsibilities and if possible give reference of your colleagues or better your immediate supervisor. This too is acceptable to CIC.

Hello Seniors,

IF we do not have a Birth Certificate, we go for the Self Affidavit option, want to know if there were applications which did not include the birth certificate. It is now difficult to get a BC in time now. Please help. my year of birth is 1980.
PLEASE HELP :(
