My documents received in Nova Scotia on 3rd of November for NOC 0113. My point is how we can know about the rejection or package sent back by cic.
you will not know until you receive the pkg back.
may be you can send email / call them after 10 working weeks to find out the status....

My application is almost ready to be sent. But i still need some help from the good people of this forum.

I have to translate the following documents because they are not in English: Marriage Certificate, reference letters,Birth certificate,Degree certificate and transcripts.

As i understand, the translator needs to obtain an affidavit. And if i am sending photocoipes of any of the above documents,it needs to be certified by a notary public.
Now my question is this: do i need to translate the affidavit and the certification written by the notary again? In my country the affidavit and the notary public certification will be in my official language and not English.I will be sending the originals of the reference letters so i believe i do not need to certify it.I will appreciate if anyone can kindly clarify this.

Thanks in anticipation of your reply.
In Russia it works as follows: 1. A photocopy of your original is made. 2. A notary public certifies this copy, puts all his details, dates, signs and stamps the copy. 3. Translation agency makes a translation of the copy along with notary public certification and stamp. 4. Translator puts his name, date and affidavit at the end. He provides an affidavit in two languages so there's not need to translate anything further. That's it.

Guys a little out of topic. Me and my girlfriend applied but unfortunately her papers wasn't lodged because of lack of points while my papers are doing good so far (received PER stage already). If I go through the program and get my PR card, what should I do so that I can bring her with me? Is going home and marrying her going to help?Or I can let her apply the fiance's visa?Any thoughts on this? I know I'm still a long way from landing but I'm just planning ahead too. Thanks
better to have your wedding now and inform VO about your status change

Feel free to put any of them as they both are originals, not copies. Applications are rejected for photocopies of WES original reports, that's the point. Generally WES doesn't send you "copies":)

Yeah, this is crucial! Otherwise it would be a) misrepresentation and b) pain in the ass to bring her to Canada

You must include her in your application now if you did not do it before.

How can I update the ss I lost my edit link?

You are right - this question has been asked many times :) Doesn't matter, we are here to help.
1. CIC updates caps (when they have the time) to reflect how many "complete" applications they have received (I think this is regardless of whether the applications are judged to be eligible for further processing or not based on the verbiage they have used for the caps). Due to this reason, I also believe that's the reason why people who got their PER's even after that cap was reached at CIC. Funny but possible.
2. This is more tricky. Your NOC might not cap at all, if they receive 25500 applications in the other NOC's whichever comes first. For example, if 20 NOC's cap out (20,0000 applications)and the remaining NOC's are totalling upto 5,500, then they will stop processing 100% as the overall cap of 25,500 was reached. They will just be sending back everything without opening from that point on.

Regards,
Rick

thanks Rick, but would you assume that a current cap of 235 would reach 1000, given the slow and steady growth of applications over the last 3 months? I just want some sort of positive thought to be relieved :D ;)

What to do with WES because they made a fatal error in my ECA and when i reported this error to them they have put my file under review. How long my file will remain under review. Anyone else has suffered same issue and how long did it take for him to get his corrected revised ECA report.

Regards,
George

No I am pretty sure that 235 will not reach 1000 nor will the overall cap reach 25000, going by the current pace. (For people going to Canada via FSW, this is actually good news as we will have lesser competition for jobs when we get there - normally x00,000 people migrate every year) :-* :P ;D 8)

Is anyone driving to Canada from USA?
Do you any idea about new ITN number for car export?

George - you seem to be a Software person? (Fatal Error? :) ) Nevertheless - WES reviews take between 15 - 45 days depending on which country the application is from. They seem to get in touch with the university to make sure everything is in place. May I ask what was this error?

Regards,
Rick

Just to share with you, I got per 130 days after they received my package. Saturday morning, I was just checking my emails not thinking about my app with Canada. Then I saw an email from CIO with the title Application for Permanent Residence. Quite nervous that time but told myself that this is an answer that I've been waiting for regardless of the outcome. Thank God, it was per. For those who are waiting for their own good news, I hope you'll get it anytime soon. Just be patient, in God's perfect time, it will come. God bless and happy weekend everyone.
