whats next to PER and how many days?

im expecting them to ask for PCC UK hence should i start the PCC process or wait for the email to ask for it.

You should look up the process for obtaining a UK PCC and find out how long it takes. If its fast, wait for mail, if it takes time, ask for it now!

Seems like I gotta be next:) Docs received on 21-JUL-2014, CC charged on 05-NOV-2014, last PER seems to be for 18-JUL-2014 applications. Well, 19th and 20th were Sat and Sun, so 21st is the next one. Am I right if I assume PER can reach me anytime from Monday?

Hello Destinationca, please what other supporting/additional documents did you send together with your work experiences reference letter? Pls reply as soon as possible... Thanks and congrats!!

@Igwee: Thanks for your wishes. Pretty much whatever I had pertaining to that specific employment - Offer & Employment Letter, Performance Appraisal letters, Relocation letters (if any), Pay Stubs, Forms W2's etc. I did not limit the docs to the ones specifically mentioned in the document checklist.

Hi dudes,

I know that my question might have been answered somewhere in this topic but I'll be grateful if you could be so nice to shed light on my concern. basically how cic updates the caps? is it based on receipt of applications, or ...?

I have sent my application last week and it did arrive yesterday. I am applying for 4011 which currently reached 235. just wondering if I'll meet the cap or not? my main concern is that some caps are suddenly reached after some short updates!

Many thanks in advance.

My application is almost ready to be sent. But i still need some help from the good people of this forum.

I have to translate the following documents because they are not in English: Marriage Certificate, reference letters,Birth certificate,Degree certificate and transcripts.

As i understand, the translator needs to obtain an affidavit. And if i am sending photocoipes of any of the above documents,it needs to be certified by a notary public.
Now my question is this: do i need to translate the affidavit and the certification written by the notary again? In my country the affidavit and the notary public certification will be in my official language and not English.I will be sending the originals of the reference letters so i believe i do not need to certify it.I will appreciate if anyone can kindly clarify this.

Thanks in anticipation of your reply.

Guys i have very good news for you all, after sometime of having the hesitation about the CAP updates and how it is being estimated and either for completeness check or CC charge or PER. i decided earlier last month to send an email to CIC asking about that specifically. here below the reply i got today

Dear Sir/Madam:

The website provides an estimate only of the applications included in the cap.

Until the application is checked for completeness, it cannot be confirmed as being received. Once it has been determined that the submission is complete, it is counted in the cap and the information is updated electronically. Due to high volumes of submissions, there is a lag between confirmation of receipt of a complete application and the electronic update of the cap count.

You are right - this question has been asked many times :) Doesn't matter, we are here to help.
1. CIC updates caps (when they have the time) to reflect how many "complete" applications they have received (I think this is regardless of whether the applications are judged to be eligible for further processing or not based on the verbiage they have used for the caps). Due to this reason, I also believe that's the reason why people who got their PER's even after that cap was reached at CIC. Funny but possible.
2. This is more tricky. Your NOC might not cap at all, if they receive 25500 applications in the other NOC's whichever comes first. For example, if 20 NOC's cap out (20,0000 applications)and the remaining NOC's are totalling upto 5,500, then they will stop processing 100% as the overall cap of 25,500 was reached. They will just be sending back everything without opening from that point on.

Rick
