Hello all..
How long the demand draft from standard chartard bank remain valid?

Also, I have applied with an august version of document checklist, on November 2. I didn't find the updated version before I send my applications There is no update for me in the new checklist. Will it be a concern for me as I send an old document checklist? Please reply.
Best wishes to all..

Hi Guys, I have a strange situation. My ECAS' second line is updated to "We started processing your application on 08/Nov/2014". . . . . .
But, I never received my PER email . . . . members of this forum said that I missed PER email . . . .
Now, I don't want to miss MR email . . . and doubt that what if CIO has my incorrect email ID or for some reasons I am not receiving email. . . .
What shall I do - - - Call them/Email them ????
I thank in advance for your invaluable time . . . .
Cheers,
AJ
Hi AJ. ...what I feel is, the email id provided by you may have mistake.e.g. you might have missed a character...just check the pdf soft copies from which you took printouts, the same which you have sumitted to cic.

If yes then email them stating the correct I'd. If not, still inform them regarding the situation.

I feel you give them an opinion of a new email id where missing of emails chances are very thin. But this is just my view.

Normally CIC takes around 40-45 days before responding to any query. You are saying that CIC replied you the very next day..which is hard to believe..my friend.. I am not raising finger upon your credibility.. It's like this post of your has given so many August applicants of 2173 a hope that still there is a chance for them.. I just want to make aurw that what ever you have written is true...i hope you will understand

Sure, I sent the query as a follow-up mail (even though it was my first mail to CIO) on Nov 12th after the 2173 cap was updated as 1000 in the CIC site. And I received a reply on the next day itself, Nov 13th.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I applied in the 2132 Mech Engineer category in May 2014, today I received my RPRF and MR from CIC.

Last month I got married. I applied initially as a single applicant.

What is the procedure to include my wife in this application?
How do I inform CIC that my marital status has changed?
Will this delay my application?
Has anyone been through this before (Applied as a single applicant and got married later)?
Please help.

Thanks!

Congrats buddy, in mail it is clearly mentioned that "you should reply them back in case u didnt received second mail or any docs missed".
So replay them back explaining ur situation.
Also, making CSE will not harm. This will be resolved within a week. :)

Boys

Does Local VO acknowledge receipt of additional documents & Request for Permanent Resident Fee Receipt? Its been few weeks my additional documents received by local VO but complete silence. Any words of wisdom?

Thank you Goku . . . . But guys does it mean that if my second line of ECAS is updated, Will I get MR soon in near future and my verification is complete ????

Guys - useful info - it confirms they count app in CAP right after completeness (even before CC charge)
I got this info from their training manual which is available for public.

MailRoom

Processor #1 Service Delivery Clerk CR-03
Mail - Open mail, stamp envelope with received date, record tracking number on spreadsheet
enter daily mail count on G-drive spreadsheet,

Processor #2 - Service Delivery Clerk CR03:

Completeness Check - Review application for completeness <xyz...xyz>.
Ensure the application includes an acceptable language test, and that the cap has not been reached.

If application is complete: app is placed in a file jacket and then sent to be created in GCMS
If Arranged employment - staple orange tag to the file
If French processing - staple pink tag to be processed by bilingual agent

If application is not complete: a letter identifying the missing requirements is sent with
applicable appendices and the entire application is returned to the client.
Note: All returned applications must also be created in GCMS, for tracking purpose

Processor #3 Service Delivery Clerk
Scanning - GCMS application is created. Only essential details (Name, NOC, etc) are entered in GMS
initially to ensure the file is counted into the appropriate cap.
The file is then sent to Mailroom Processor #4 for cost recovery

Processor #4 Service Delivery Clerk
Cost Recovery - review the file to determine the method of payment....

Congrats buddy. First of all make CSE using below link for procedure:
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=new+delhi

NDVO is very fast, they will reply you back in a day's time.

But v first thing is "marriage certificate", so try to get it asap. Also if required, update passport of your you/wife(to update wife's name and add each other name is spouse section). Take action as quickly as u can, this wont impact your file processing much if you are able to gather docs quickly.

All the best. :)

SBA79 - Your PER was 25 Aug and you AOR on 14th Nov??? That is 81 days!! :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X That is the longest anyone has waited to get AOR. Average time for entire SS is 26.5 days!! It took 4x the time as usual. Even Singapore VO takes only 32 days on average. Any idea what happened? SCARY!

No this AOR came on 24/09/2014. I am waiting for MR for 52 days now.
