Unfortunately, we have very few shared GCMS notes this year to observe the timelines at which VO move an application to the next stage. It's clear though that in some cases they wave document verification and proceed with MR when criminality check is complete (this one is easy and fast because they simply acknowledge your PCCs and retrieve electronic information from RCMP database in case an applicant visited Canada in his past travels=can be done in one day). They issue PPR2 and COPR when security check is passed (this one is time-consuming because they rely on Interpol and Intelligence services to process the request=two-three months). Consequently, if they decide to run document verification it can become a pain in the ass if a person has a large file (multiple marriages, kids, several places of work, travel history, etc.) and gradually delay the issuance of immigration visa. But, even if they decide to put the file through extensive checks the target processing times for FSW-14 are still pretty amazing (~11 months) comparing to several years of waiting for previous intakes.
