It's a case in majority, once they get good news they start celebrating without updating SS not considering that their timelines does help others *sigh* , sometimes I feel after Feb 2015 this forum will become very slow since majority would have gotten their Visas and the new ones will be without answers. Although seniors would have left a Golden forum full of information for the newbies, still I'd request seniors or the one's who get their Visas to give this forum a lil peek from time to time! (i.e, If you guys can). Thank you :)
Exactly. Right you are. +1 for you.

SBA79 - Your PER was 25 Aug and you AOR on 14th Nov??? That is 81 days!! :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X That is the longest anyone has waited to get AOR. Average time for entire SS is 26.5 days!! It took 4x the time as usual. Even Singapore VO takes only 32 days on average. Any idea what happened? SCARY!

Hi,

I have a question - I have recently got L1 visa stamped on my passport. However, I am not travelling to US anytime soon, not at least the whole PR process is over. When I receive MR or PPR do I still need to inform the local visa office about my L1 visa stamping, even though I am not travelling to US?
Yes please! It's always better to. USA & Canada share their visa/immigration databases and cross-verification is always done as a part of the criminality check process. CIC's agenda to do this is to check on asylum-seekers, refugees etc...but your L1 issuance will come up during the check.

So I basically send my stamped page photocopy along with a cover letter to local visa office along with bio pages, RPRF etc., right?

Seniors please help me out...Need Urgent reply!!!!!!!

I am having 5 years of experience in the NOC(2133) to which I am going to apply. But I am getting short of 2 marks, so planning to show two years experience in other field which is of NOC 2173 to get 67 marks.

My question is will they consider experience of NOC (2173) for which I am not applying??

Thank you for your prompt reply, Century!

Will give it a try as there is nothing to loose. She has not received a NER(according to the agent and no updates) . Lets imagine her file reached between 15th and 20th of June. Are there any chances that her file is through?

I believe the forum has something like givin a +1. I am not sure how to award that but here goes my +1 for u :)

Regards

Then more detail of applications like father name, mother name, spouse name, etc. And inform that it was reached sometime after 15th June. Try this. It may work.

So you became PRs, moved to Canada for 8 years, moved away and lost PR status and now applying again?

May I ask why you left there in 2009?

Hello all..
I have been a silent reader of this forum since past 4 months and have been helped several times by reading the replies of the forumites...

But I have one querry with me...I am an NOC 4011 applicant.
File recvd. 18th September
VO: New Delhi

My only concern is that whether CIC is becoming subject specific while selscting applications..??
Since i am a post graduate in Pharmacy and pharmacy is not much in demand these days in Canada...so can it be a reason for the rejection of my application..??

Please reply if somebody has any idea about it...!!
Hello,

Have CIC specifically mentioned about Pharmacy? No. So don't worry as long as you had done your application perfectly.
