It takes 5 working days for CIC to update the results on your ECAS. dont worry you will get good news today/tomorrow

my medical result was also uploaded on 10th November by IOM Lahore but there is no 3rd line?

Winter: warm coat/parka, fleece (pants, tops, etc.), undershirt and long johns (underpants), warm hat, gloves, and scarf, clothes you would wear in early spring or fall (see below) in DARKER colours

Spring: Sweaters (fleece, wool, cotton, etc.), hoodie, ponchos, leather jacket, long & short sleeved shirts, heavier jeans, rain jacket, umbrella, sun hat, sunglasses, etc. in PASTEL, METALLIC, or LIGHT colours with some DARKER.

Summer: thin and light cottons, linens, and sport nylons, shorts, cropped pants, tank tops, skirts, sun hat, sun glasses, light jeans, khaki's, etc. in LIGHT colours (white, beige, etc.)

please any body help me
i will land in the end of this year in Toronto, what type of the clothing should be taken and if there is any list of stuff that should be taken. i am single and want a cheap single room in any hostel. and what area is better for new commers.

Good quality Winter wear is most imoortant. Buy clothes which you can wear in layers. Temprature in winter drops to -10 to -15 in Toronto and goes upto 35-40 degree in summers.

Carry some regular/daily use things for initial settelment as spending too much money in initial days is not at all advisable.

As you are landing in winter get some realy warm clothes, dont forget to carry warm gears for head, hands and feat, specificaly get shoes which are good for snowy winters and would be confortable in snow...
You can search an appartment available on sharing basis which would cost you around 400-700 CAD including amenities and bills... dont know about hostels but sharing apparements are available in lots...so before landing go thru the websites and shortlist some good appartments as per your requirement...

TO ALL DD APPLICANTS:
I was able to get DD encashment status and date from ICICI Bank. Likewise they initially refused. I questioned what will happen to my money if CIC didn't encash it (and I told CIC is A foreign gov body and would never tell me they did or did not) - What does your Banking Law or procedure say - If a DD is issued but not encashed and if the customer has no recourse to know whether encashed by the beneficiary, then the customer should lose the money????
Then I gave a request letter asking them to decline my request so that I will follow with CIC (I simply told)
Then the next day the Bank called and told me the date of encashment
Good Luck all future migrants.... MIGRANTS CANNOT AFFORD TO GIVE UP!

good to know that path..btw my bank says they need 14 working days to get the info as they are coordinating with canadian bank to get the status update..........waiting for their response now.

No way it is capped..

Wait for next 15-20 days, still charging is going on for july end so your no may come in some time...

i am a june 18th applicant NOC 3142. Recieved my PER on 17th october. Still not being able to view my ECAS. It always say WE CANNOT IDENTIFY YOU WITH GIVEN INFORMATION. tried various browsers, combinations as suggested by friends. But all in vain. Please help

Yes you'll be within Cap. As per current trend PER takes about 110-120 days but hope it ll reduce to 90 odd days,

Sonujacob, they are lying that they dont get this info, actually its a RBI regulation that every bank at end of the day need to give trial balance status of their NOSTRO account (account form which foreign banks take out money which you paid via DD). So they need to submit a report to RBI which DD's got encashed and which are pending, there may be a lag of 2-3days considering weekends and when indian banks receive info from them but crux they have the info

Try hard and tell them you know about their NOSTRO bank account lol
