If you would like to pass on Express Entry details to Family and Friends who are aspiring to apply for next year..

Canada migration will be easier and quicker from 2015 onwards as the Express Entry is being launched.
A few points to note:

• No occupation list. Everyone can apply as long as they meet the pass points
• Applications will be in a pool for 12 months and highest scoring applicants will selected from that pool
• Every 2 weeks CIC will select applicants from pool based on points.
• Couple will get more points due to spouse ability.
• Those selected will be invited to apply for Immigration and their case will be processed in 6 months
• Those with a job offer will score extra points
• Allocation for Federal Skilled Workers for fiscal year 2015-16 is expected to be 51000
Economic immigration, which is based on an individual’s skills and experience, presents an opportunity for foreign workers and their families to migrate to Canada through a variety of programs. Of the immigrants to be selected for permanent residence in Canada in 2015, between 169,000 and 185,200 are expected to be economic immigrants.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) estimates that around 51,000 federal skilled workers will be selected in 2015.

We received your application for permanent residence on July 16, 2014
This is AOR?

I called the same number. A gentleman answering my phone was able to give me my UCI.
Try make another call and expect for another agent ;D

Can you tell me to which number you had called and how you were able to get the UCI. I called to 613 9444 000 and the agent said she can't look up my application and I have to wait to receive official communication from Sydney office.

No - AOR is an email that you'd receive and it usually contains your file number

2nd line got updated on October 9th that they started processing application.

Did they verify your experience ????

That Ur local visa office issues u once they receive Ur application from CIC (after PER CIC sends file to local visa office)

Another topic to give hope to all of us, since I got PER, I have started applying to a few jobs, I have been very selective and have tried to find job openings that matched my experience and background, I have also been honest and told about the current status of my application being only at initial per, which I assume should be enough to turn away many of the hiring managers, but to my surprise I have had a couple of skype interviews, one of them they really sounded interested in making me an offer, they mentioned about exploring TFWP option as a bridge until PR (if gods grace gives me a happy ending in the process), or in the other hand if they lawyers recommendation was to stay away from TFWP, making me the offer with a start date of summer 2015.

Hope that nobody takes this as bragging, believe me is not my intention, but to give hope that being persistent and having a plan could make transition much more easier, I'll update the forum as this progress.

What field? From my personal experience there is no use in applying before you land in Canada.
Its hard enough to find a job without canadian experience.
But if you have a job that is in really high demand it might be different.

Informing everyone with very SAD mood that :

My Application got rejected for a reason Expired DD ...

I have got DD issued from ICICI bank on 22/05/2014 , and it has a stamp of "Three Months Validity"

Everyone said DD's default expiry is SIX months... NO Friends CIC is very strict
and CIC had not asked me to submit fresh DD, simply rejected & Returned my application

My Application was sent back on 22/09/2014 , and I Received it today on 13/11/2014

Timeline :
Application Sent date: 23/05/2014
Application Received date : 28/05/2014
DD issued on 22/05/2014 and Expired on 21/08/2014
Application sent back on 22/09/2014
Received it on 13/11/2014
Reason : DD is Expired, as there was a stamp "Valid for three Months"

Dear 3142SACH, im sorry to know that ur app was returned..but all is not lost.. please apply this time with cc details... as its faster and tension free.. 3142 still has lot of space to fill in.. you still got a chance.. dont loose hope! PER: After your final eligibility review is complete at CIO, if successful, you will receive confirmation of positive final eligibility review (PER).
If you specified an email in your application then CIO will send this to you by email, since this is cheaper for them and quicker for the applicant.

Bro some visa officers do all the verification and checks before issuing any further requests
