Got the MR email :) :)
5th June NOC 2171 NDVO

The issue is, in medical forms my wife's name is not updated as per the re-issued passport.
I sent our re-issued passports more than a month ago to them via case specific inquiry as well as sent them a courier in a hard copy as well. :-[ :-[

For now, I have responded to their email for asking another new medical form with updated name for my spouse attaching old & new passports.

Within how much time I can expect updated medical form from them?

Congrats and +1 to you !!

send a CSE to NDVO for name spelling change. Also during medicals tell the doctor to make necessary changes.

Dear Forumites,

Few of you, like me have had applications returned due to non-submission of birth certificates. Even though i had submitted self affidavits they have not accepted it for my spouse. Can anyone please give me an idea of what more to submit for birth confirmation with the new application i am filing in a different but related NOC?
I have read that some of you have submitted affidavits from a parent confirming birth details and name of parent. Can anyone please advise me on the format of such affidavit.

Is it game over for Aug 13th applicants for NOC 2173?
Anybodys CC/DD charged for Aug 13th NOC 2173 .. please reply .. I saw "jas" updating on the list saying his/her CC charged on aug 13th NOC 2173 .. but he removed it few minutes back ... hope he is not playing with us .. was seriously happy when I saw aug 13th applicant the in the list of CC charged .. now I am shattered again ...

No way. Aug applicants should be within CAP, maybe even Sept.

Dear Friends,

I received the police certificate from home country for me and my wife recently. Would I send this police certificates NOW to the CPC- Ottawa address that they mentioned in their email along with right of permanent residency fees receipts and other documents? OR would I wait until I received FBI police certificate then send all documents together to CPC- Ottawa address ?

Any advises are appreciated.

It is better to send all the documents together... what is the status of your FBI PCC?

well most of the files for university lecturer 'ld be returned...the only thing they are accepting is the lecturers who had 4 years of bachelor's degree and a masters degree of 2 years....due to this factor....most of the applicants 'ld only have a 3 years bachelor's degree which 'ld lead to disqualify ....so i think if ur husband has 4 years bachelor's degree with 18 years of education till masters' degree...he'ld qualify for sure...
best of wishes

Seniors can you verify if this is true? Feeling worried. My husband only has a 4 years bachelors degree. Our country doesn't ask for masters to be a lecturer or professor and he is a culinary arts professor or lecturer.

HELP!!!!

Did you submit 10th standard passing certificate mentioning your DOB along with affidavit.
That would have done the trick

Just wanna share this for 2173 - August applicants (to give hope and inspiration)...

I was able to talk with a fellow Pinoy in FB group and he has same experience as mine. He was a 2174 - June 20 (DD mode) applicant. When 2174 reached 1000 capacity, he got worried because last charging was June 19 and he didn't know the status of his application if included in the 1000 cap. After 2 weeks, he emailed LVO (Manila - VO) to inquire about his status and had known that his application is already In-Transit to the Visa Office. Also, he got his UCI number.

As per conversation with him, the update for 2174 (Oct 10 - with June 19 as last charged date) even reached the date of July 4 applicants. This means that August applicants has hope for PER as long as no problems with the documents.

I am an Aug 13 and the last charge date for 2173 is Aug 12. I hope this helps to all 2173 who's like me a worried pal. Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin Tongue

Me tooo Aug 13 .. thanks for the info .. it helps .... lets hope for the best .. i think if their is something called "Miracle" it should happen in next 4 working day or else we have to just forget and concentrate on EE :( :( :(

I think you are right .. 2174 capped when 19th june CC charges were being done but later on there were people who reported further charges even after capping ..

there are entries in SS for july CC charges and PERs .. for 2174 the final jump was of 180 odd entries..

for 2173, the final jump has been of 301 (699->1000) .. i think it should safely finish for all August and mid september entries .. fingers crossed..

Good all,

Can someone urgently help, I have been trying to view my online status , but I discovered as soon as the page loaded and shows my address it just suddenly disappear before I could finish reading it. Is this normal or could there be a problem somewhere. Please assist seniors!
