Surprisingly,
Instead of "We started processing your application...", mine reads:

Permanent Residence
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 23, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.

Without updating the second line "We started processing, CPC-O asked for Medical request?
I thought CPC-O go as for Meds when they update the second line"We started processing"...!

I hope seniors respond to you. I however think you need not send a new Background declaration form, but simply an addendum i.e. a cover letter explaining that your father passed away. Include your name, DOB, etc so that they can match it to your existing application.

Keep an eye on SS. Currently till 31st July's CC are being charged (ignore 2171 and 2173). So when you see applicant reporting 28th Aug is being charged, then contact bank. BTW, if you don't have someone in the treasury department of SCB, the bank don't keep the request to check encashment.

I am 2173 Oct12th applicant. So as cap reached.

1) Is there any hope still that my CC get en-cached?
2) If not, will my packet will be returned?
3) Will i be considered for FSW'15 without sending new app?
4) what else can i do?

Check SS I checked more than 70% are in a college under univ and got PER

It happened because suddenly out of the blue CIC started charging for NOC 2171 & 2173 for the last few days. And you can see the cap for 2173 has been reached. Now i think CIC is back on track to charge & to send PER to other NOCs.

Kindly let me know if i have to arrange for fresh PCC from Nigeria from where i returned back last august & never visited again..Although i got the PCC this year through my friend but its having a validity date of three months only.. what does 2nd line update in ECAS signify ..

Thanks brother, I am waiting for PER.
If your VO sends PCC request send the expired certificate along with affidavit explaining that you never came back to Nigeria, hence you are providing them with the PCC at hand, underlining that you will comply with their requirements if they insist on freshly issued PCC.

2nd line update means that your file is being reviewed at VO and you should expect MR soon.
