Ah! seems that no one could predict anything regarding the cap, but it is really strange and alarming if we suppose Noc 2171 has reached the cap by 27 August. that means a sudden jump from 553 to 1000 = 447 new applications received only within August! A gigantic number! If this trend continues, then no wonder if we see the following 3 or 4 popular professions on the list reaching their caps by the end of September or early October!

If 2171 was already capped, they would have updated it yesterday itself like they did for 2173. So, be cool, my guess is 2171 will run till mid-sept apps. Only a logical guessing.

And I also think caps are based on charging and charging is part of completeness check. This is very apparent because the moment we hear an noc reaching cap...... hardly we find any charging reported, however, we did hear of PERs.

It would be very helpful if every one can update their timelines on left side so that when answering queries, we will have information ready.

On which date CIC announced NOC 2173 capped fully? Any CC or DD charged after the date? Just to make sure if they count to the CAP before or after charging...

CAP is based on the applications with completeness check done...So if the completeness check is done till Aug or sep 1st week with cap reached then appliations till sep 1 can expect the Payment ..
CC charged is Aug 12 but that doesn't mean NOC 2173 capped till Aug 12?

Hi, I have a bank loan and I did not declare it in my application cause I think it will make my net fund lower and I don't have enough money to add on it.
Is there any way that CIC can check if I have bank loan?
I'm just worried about it.

My friend told me the news. He heard that from a Chinese forum. We both don't know that applicant in person.

I am 14th may applicant...already received MR on 30th Oct.....Medicals are scheduled to be done on 20th Nov.

In Dec-14 I am moving to Austraila for 6 months and probably I am assuming that I would receive my PPR request, if all goes well, within the same time period... my family will be in India itself...

Kindly suggest how to deal with such situation without coming back to India.....I am very much confused and worried

I had my MR yesterday at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

The chest X-ray revealed some light chest infection. The radiologist has asked me to take a 10 day antibiotics which might treat that infection and come for an x-ray again after 10 days.
They will postpone the upload of my results on to the CIC system until then.

*Fingers crossed* Though it does take a bad toll on your mind. :-\ :-[

Anyone else who has faced a similar situation, gone back after 10 days or so, and have come clear in the results?

I'd like to share something.

We are September 1st week applicant and had additional documents sent in the third week of September. After sending the documents we had mailed CIC for a confirmation if the documents had been added to the original package.

We mailed CIC on 18th of September. We got a reply from CIC on 6th November; here it is:

Good Morning:

As of the date of this email, I can find no record of your application in our database. As you state it was delivered on 13 September 2014, it may be in the queue for initial processing. You may wish to submit a status inquiry in 2-3 weeks, and a further search can be conducted.

Send your passport with someone to India upon ur PPR request and ask ur family to do the process..!!

Ohhh horrible day today. I am 07 August NOC 2173 DD applicant. DD not encashed yet. What should I expect from this ?

Did you call from overseas to CIC helpline?

I tried a few times to call them but after selecting all the options at the last stage, there is automated response to say that the line is busy and can not be transferred to the agent. How do you overcome that?

I am happy to announce the the arrival of my golden PER Email . Thanks all my friends here for your assistance.

Couple of things

1: I took 3 Separate DD ( 550+550+150) as the bank was requesting lot of things for one single 1250 DD
2. I don't have a birth certificate - Provided Notarized SELF AFFIDAVIT + Notarized Secondary School certificate
3. Provided HDFC bank Letter ( Did not provide a full Bank Statement) + FD
4. Forgot to mention the date on on which the photo was taken
5. Provided PCC that was issued by Passport sevakendra
6. Graduation ( IN BA History) and Job experience are different but do have certifications

Best things you can do reduce the pain of waiting

1. Send an Email to CIC after 6 or 7 Weeks and request them for UCI number
2. When you call up CIC call center, never ask them for the Status update, Instead come up with stories stating you would like to have ur UCI number etc- Develop Social Engineering Skulls
3. CIC call center has access to all your details.

Those who have not received PER and has a valid Card charge /DD encash

1. Check your ECAS status, use full name if surname does not work- Can you access
2. if yes, Call CIC help line and tell them that you have access to your application status but not sure whether you have received a PER email .( I did yesterday , within seconds I received my email). They would leave a note- thats what they told me - . Be very nice to them ,its a tough job answering tons of calls
3. Those who don't have UCI number - Call CIC and ask them for UCI number . tell them you don't need application status and you need only UCI number to check the status of your application online or send some updated documents

Those who could see ECAS and not now:

1. Call CIC help line and tell them. then they would send an Email and request you to send the detail. Generally you get a response in a single day. I had the email but not sure how I got it deleted from my inbox.

Application Received date: 16-Jul-2014
DD cashed : 1-Nov-2014
PER received : 11-Nov-14

I am May 8th applicant , received MR from CPC ottawa and also asked to submit proof of funds again. All my money around $22k is in check in account and saving has only $3k . would this be fine . Checkin account is fine? or do we need to show money in only savings account?

MR people! please urgent help!

Some weird things going on with me since morning.

In the morning I got an email from email id Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca with the subject line Immigration Canada: Information about E*******

there were two different emails one for me & my spouse with our individual UCI number and IMM1017.pdf form - that is medical report form.

However did not get any email of medical, RPRF request & pcc request.

My ecas status 2nd line not added.

Also, after I got PER, a month back I submitted my reissued passports as a soft copy via case specific inquiry to NDVO and also sent them hard copy via speed post.
Still, in the email for my wife medical report form and mail her name is as per the application only (same as old passport), they have not updated the info.

I have again submitted case specific inquiry to NDVO..
God know, when I will get other emails... :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X
