yes my DD was dated 6th Aug..but the bank says that they cannot find out if its charged or not since its already deducted from the account while making the DD.Is that true?Kindly suggest if you know an other way of finding out if your dd has been encashed.Thanks.

I got updated information chart from visa officer in which I measured heights at home but height measured at medical exam were slightly different. Should I send again updated information chart to visa officer with heights measured at the medical exam?

I dont think u will require to send this thing again...this is not a major issue if the difference is abt an inch....

This is CIC's fault....

They have not mentioned that this form is mandatory.....They could have mentioned it on the Doc checklist....I have noticed it earlier....

In the document check list it is mentioned "You must keep a copy of the completed forms .... " and only for Additional Dependant / Declaration form(IMM 0008DEP) & IMM 5476 has "IF "clause. That means all other forms should be submitted with proper information and they also mentioned that if you did not travel outside your country during this period, check “did not travel”. It clearly indicates that IMM 5562 must be submitted.

hi GUYS MYSELF 12 JUNE DD APPLICANT,
My friend called CIC WHO IS IN CANADA ON BEHALF OF ME.



CIC agent asked my detail my DOB,File received by whom.
They suggested that file is received and still in process
Then he asked is the file refused,they said no and said file still not transferred to VO.

Guys as my DD is going to Expire on 5.12.2014 and as per bank it was not encashed upto last Friday.



Needs your comments what could be the reason for delay.

This may have negative reaction of ur officer on ur application....Suggestion is not to ask abt Medical ....

Although u may ask ur file status if u think its has already too delayed......

In that case send a case specific Enquiry.....

In continuation with my last thread, my CC charged on 03rd November and I am still waiting for a response from CIC.

Can I have their call center number of CIC?

Email response will take ages.

@yehcanada, JPN was charged on 31st oct & received PER yesterday, you will surely get your PER in the next 3/4 days. so have patience my firend.

Some weird things going on with me since morning.

In the morning I got an email from email id Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca with the subject line Immigration Canada: Information about E*******

there were two different emails one for me & my spouse with our individual UCI number and IMM1017.pdf form - that is medical report form.

However did not get any email of medical, RPRF request & pcc request.

My ecas status 2nd line not added.

Also, after I got PER, a month back I submitted my reissued passports as a soft copy via case specific inquiry to NDVO and also sent them hard copy via speed post.
Still, in the email for my wife medical report form and mail her name is as per the application only (same as old passport), they have not updated the info.

I have again submitted case specific inquiry to NDVO..
God know, when I will get other emails... :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

dont worry about second line....we have seen many people get medical email before second line update....
u can send inquiry emal to NDVO to confirm...

I am happy to announce the the arrival of my golden PER Email . Thanks all my friends here for your assistance.

Couple of things

1: I took 3 Separate DD ( 550+550+150) as the bank was requesting lot of things for one single 1250 DD
2. I don't have a birth certificate - Provided Notarized SELF AFFIDAVIT + Notarized Secondary School certificate
3. Provided HDFC bank Letter ( Did not provide a full Bank Statement) + FD
4. Forgot to mention the date on on which the photo was taken
5. Provided PCC that was issued by Passport sevakendra
6. Graduation ( IN BA History) and Job experience are different but do have certifications

Best things you can do reduce the pain of waiting

1. Send an Email to CIC after 6 or 7 Weeks and request them for UCI number
2. When you call up CIC call center, never ask them for the Status update, Instead come up with stories stating you would like to have ur UCI number etc- Develop Social Engineering Skulls
3. CIC call center has access to all your details.

Those who have not received PER and has a valid Card charge /DD encash

1. Check your ECAS status, use full name if surname does not work- Can you access
2. if yes, Call CIC help line and tell them that you have access to your application status but not sure whether you have received a PER email .( I did yesterday , within seconds I received my email). They would leave a note- thats what they told me - . Be very nice to them ,its a tough job answering tons of calls
3. Those who don't have UCI number - Call CIC and ask them for UCI number . tell them you don't need application status and you need only UCI number to check the status of your application online or send some updated documents

Those who could see ECAS and not now:

1. Call CIC help line and tell them. then they would send an Email and request you to send the detail. Generally you get a response in a single day. I had the email but not sure how I got it deleted from my inbox.

That is the MR email having medical forms attached for you and spouse. However, before this email you are supposed to received another email from
DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca having your application number mentioned in the subject. Check your spam folder in case it went there, else immeidately raise an URGENT CSE to NDVO. You need that email corresondence, as that email has offical PDF letter from NDVO requesting for any documents from you like PCC etc.
