My app returned by snail mail yesterday. details of my app are as follows
noc : 2171
Date of app: 16th June, 2014

Reason for rejection : Travel form was not attached

I have two question for forumites ...
1. Do i still have a chance in 2171 code if i send a fresh app
2. How do i make changes to the spreadsheet and update it as file returned?

Sorry to hear ... frankly speaking .. there is no chance to be in cap for a fresh app. It will be capped any time. It is following the way of 2174 & 2173. How about 2172 ? Is there any chance for you to apply in that NOC ? Then definitely you can give a try.

Have u saved the Edit URL when you updated SS ? If yes you can update the last activity also else you can enter freshly and ask admin to delete your entry.

There may be a chance to visit physically in case of doubt. But it is not always.

I am sorry but I disagree with you. I had a UK PCC which was from 2012 and I had an Indian PCC about 11 months old while sending the application. I sent it along with the application and I am awaiting PPR. Never got asked to furnish a new PCC.
So you never know, just send it with the application, they might consider it...

Infact I just checked my UK pcc was dated back to dec 2010

I got PER 3 days ago. But now i realized that i have filled my VO as Nova Scotia but i should have written London VO. What should i do now? Will they send the application to London or it will be rejected?

Hi Forumites,

It seems the pace at which this thread is growing, most of the queries are not getting responses.

In a way its good to see the popularity of this thread but on the other side for some applicants its a worry for not getting responses.

At present I have 2 queries:

- I made the payment through CC even when I gave all the details (Name, Address, DOB, Postal Code), but on the receipt only my name & receipt # is reflecting. Kindly, confirm whether anyone in this forum had the similar experience.

- How the documents (MR, PP copy, Request Letter, RPRF receipt) were sent to NDVO: Normal Post, Registered Post, Speed Post, Courier or by hand.

Hope this time my query doesn't got lost.

RPRF receipt is fine. Send docs by courier.

I am happy to share with you my update. Today, I receive back my passport from VO with the stamped visa. I have updated the spread sheet as well. My genuine thanks to all the senior forum members.

It's true at CIO stage. At VO stage they accept PCC with 1 year validity.
Moreover, if you never returned to a country and have expired PCC for it that covers the entire period of your staying there they will still acknowledge it (several cases in the thread observed).

Can you provide me some links I am not able to see any?

For others who say it is invalid, as per above, I have never returned again to UK, so the PCC which is issued does cover the duration of stay in UK, and, UK PCC does not have any expiration date unlike an Indian PCC. So I think the PCC should be valid.

I really hope that's true. My application for 2173 with bank draft reached on August 12 (the latest CC charge date for 2173).
