Whichever way .. I would think in a positive direction, so keep yourself engaged until then and do no think much. Logic is correct .. CIC could cover a long distance upto 26-Aug indicating number of apps would have been less. moreover, what if the completeness check was done until 26-Aug and CC charging happened until then .. so in that case it may take a little more time .. and you will be charged. Wish you all the bestnamreddy said:But one simple equation is holding me... for 2 months 20 days 2171 capped at 558 and with in next month will it be to 450...I assume no but again why they halted charging to answer...
DHL took 7 days to deliver my package else I would have been 26th Aug and have cc charged by now ...
7th July applicant (NOC 1111).. charged on 23 Oct (CC)... still waiting for PERmaple14 said:8th july applicant....charged 24th oct.....still no PER

Completely agree, this could also mean other NOCs will speed up once hot NOCs are seen off. So all in all lots of positives for all those are waiting.idefix said:Just a reply over this excellent post by shah2014 (+1 due).
This would explain a lot of things. Everybody was expecting the processing times to be much faster with the CAP of NOC 2174.
However, we didn't saw that, the rate was kept the same. What we saw in the last few days was the 217x NOCs 20+ days ahead of the other NOCs.
This simply means the IT team of the CIO was kept on the same size as before, and therefore this NOCs went much faster.
In a few days they should finish the all the 217x NOCs but the 2172 and the team should hopefully be reassigned to other NOCs.
Finally, per the SS, the applications from the NOCs 1112, 2171, 2173 and 2174 accounted for almost 40% of the applications, so things should move much faster for everybody else once this NOCs are capped and everybody is reassigned.
