I am a NOC 2171 applicant. My app received CIC on[size=10pt][/size] 25th Aug. Today at 7:30 I got CC Charging SMS on my mobile!!!!!

Any one knows if Visa office matters in speed of CC charge? e.g London office is fast or Islamabad,Pakistan office in processing times? :-[ :-X

CC/dd charges at cic side at Canada , your vo for pr applications processing would be London.

Do I have to attach my CV in my application ? Coz I was advised by my Consulting Agency to attach it on my Application

No harm to do that but not mandatory.

Guys,

Could somebody please help me. I am June last and July 1st week applicant under 2174.I called CIO for status.
They gave me the UCI number. The lady further told that they don't have any other information about the application except UCI number.
CIC online tracking system is not finding any information about the UCI number provided over the phone.
I have strong feeling that my application has been returned due to the CAP reach.
Could somebody please confirm if UCI is generated even if the application is returned due to the CAP reach?
Prompt response will be appreciated.

I only submitted my certificate of employment without job duties. However, I've included my contracts and payslips.
I'll try get some letters from my colleagues as my previous company does not provide letters with job duties.
A lot of July 14 applicant got their PER's already even with same NOC.

I have applied under university professors and lecturer category and my application is received on 3oth october 2014. In how much time i will get a reply from CIC.If my application is rejected then how much time they will take to notify me.

I think you will have to wait atleast 3.5 months to hear from cic from the date of application.

Hello People,

One of the best mornings for me as my CC got charged today

M a 25Aug applicant NOC 2171....got a call @ 7.30am from HDFC Hyd for confirmation of debit and within seconds a debit message was there in my inbox...thanks everyone in the forum,I appreciate senior members for their round the clock dedication and support to others.

My APP received on 24th June and CC got Charged on 14th Oct, after almost 30 days now i didnt received PER.

So wanted to know from all is i have still a chance

I have my Client ID how can it help me to know my status

if u have uci or any other number then u wl be able to check ur status online, n if its showing that they have received ur application on 24th june..then its a good sign
u have not received any PER mail....may be because u did not mention correct email id on forms...
did u hired any consultant??......if yes, then he might wrote incorrect email id on generic form...

if u have photocopy of forms which u send then check them....
otherwise write an email to cic about ur situation.

u can also send CSE to NDVO regarding this, if they have ur file, then they will reply shortly...

generally after CC/DD charging, 99% we receive PER, and on same day ( PER mail) CIC forward our file to concerned VO.

Don't get disheartened....I am sure CIC is planning to release the Officers assigned for hot NOCs, like 2171 and 2173 after capping for the other NOCs...this way they can reduce the rush of files coming into cic WHICH is unnecessary load on them, in terms of resending all those files later due to capping. This also saves them courier charges which is not small!

I agree it delays the cold NOCs by a couple of weeks, but since overall CIC load of receiving and returning capped apps etc is reduced,, the net impact will be only a few days! Wish you all the best!

Initially I thought, that is how they should start from first week itself for the same reasons. But later expected them to follow strict FIFO as given in their rule books. Am happy about this changes!! Here am worried about, DD cases.. Just because CIC want to cap certain NOCs, Banks wouldn't work faster..DDs would take same time. 10-15 days. It is a long wait for DD Applicants. I hope they take into consideration pending DD encashments, before they come to any conclusion on CAP updates or CIC might also be thinking DDs are safest and consider all DD Apps as complete!!
