100% Agree. No point in panicking over this. CIC is just being smart about using their resources so they can cap certain codes and prevent extra administrative work load. It actually may help everyone because that might free up resources from the completeness check part of the process, once all of these codes get capped.

May I also remind people that all of us anyway likely will plan on landing next year summer (May to Aug 2015). The winter (Canada) is already set in and looks to be a bad one. Would be a bad idea to land during the winter months, for people not used to it. Whereas, if you land in the summer, you get a few months to find your bearing and acclimatize. I am also told that employers put out more job vacancies during the summer months. For those who have kids, the next school term begins 1st September 2015. So, a 15 day delay is not worth fretting over. Spend the time learning about the place.

Ask harshil1901 if he benefited from this sudden revelation of CIO with 123 waiting days.

I appreciate your reasons, but, Landing is not the only factor that affect you.
Their are many things in someone life pending until we figure our applications success/failure.
We aren't asking them to issue the visa today, it's all about arrangements, commitments and obligations.

ye i agree to u....its all about process n timings ....our plans n mindset....its human nature we get worried ...we r still not sure wats happening with our applications there...being in cold NOCs does not mean we have cold heart everyday fearing rejection !! if we culd get the decision fast we culd plan wat next before its too late....thts not fair CC :'(

Hey...... no one knows exactly what is happening inside CIC and we are all guessing games. I am guessing here again that after charging CC, all those people will go back behind the queue with everyone else from other NOCs for PER.

That means people like us , whose payment is via DD, we will be in the same queue, although it is 2171.

We (Applicants) control the application submission, and the CIC controls the execution of their process. No point in venting over something we do not control. One thing I have learn't is that this is an exercise in patience. Yes, some people end up waiting 123 days while, others only 80. But, that is life, isnt it. Unfortunate, but it is what it is. I was trying to explain how it would mean a difference of 15-20 days in the eventual landing date. If you focus on that, it doesn't seem like an injustice, given the winter months wouldnt anyway be a good time to land.

Since your CC has been charged, you will receive the PER mail, sooner or later. Have patience.
