Everyone, just got charged for 8th Aug app, 2171 ;D ;D ;D

Thanks to this wonderful forum, this really wouldn't have been possible without the help provided here. Again, many thanks to all for the priceless guidance.

Edit: I was just about to have dinner when my cell pinged, and there it was....1250 CAD transaction on my CC.

my immigration mates.....those who are paying via DD.......and still waiting for the charge..........while their mates paying through CC are announcing good news.......please don't get upset, I myself was DD user, yes it takes time, on average it takes 2 to 3 weeks more than CC payments (depends on each case), have faith in All Mighty and always be prepared for the good news.

I know and understand the pain of waiting....ok lets have some good news for u guys.....that is one thing is sure that you guys will never ever hear or get the followings:

1. the message that CIC tried to charge ur payment and it was refused!
2. that the bank is going to replace ur current cards in next 2 months due to some s h I t happened in their security systems
3. u wont have to be worried for how limit of transaction your card allows.
4. you will never have to call the bank to allow international transaction ESPECIALLY from CANADA!
5. you will never have to increase your payment limits
6. you will not hold your nerves all the time to get good news SMS
7. you wont have to be tensed all the time that whether or not your payment was made or refused! (that might give u BP problem!)

All you will ever hear and get is the following for sure (if everything goes alright with ur app)

1. ECAS updated, PER received and 1st line added to ur ECAS!

so just chill out......out of these 7 things u have to do only one thing.....wait and wait with faith.

I love how you compiled the possible stresses of using CC.

Pls tell wht is latest date of dd charged ? I am 2173 7th aug applicant quite worried aswell pls cnfrm If additional documents are send by courier wid all necessary details will it gets added to the file as I send the same in sept 1st week .send email aswell got a revert on 28 oct pls send the email document again ( this was in reply to my email to cic to add documents attached in email aswell) ... I instantly send the documents scan copy thru email and put on subject urgent document demanded. ..
now I am quite confused is tht been added to my file or they will again open the new email after 30 days tym
pls help

On this day when many August applicants r happy on their CC/DD being charged I received my application package returned due to cap full.

It hurts more coz on 29th Oct additional documents were delivered at CIO about my new employment so that I can be considered under Arranged Emp Category but those were not attached to my application...

BUT I haven't given up... I am sending my application again in a day or 2.. so hope that this time I'll be able to make it under Arranged Employment...

I planned not to reply you but then i thought that if by my clarification you can sleep well, i must reply. However there are very little chance you that you try to accept.
FYI date of processing started is the date of file processing started by Visa officer, it is not the date of receipt of file by Visa office. A Visa Officer can process a file in a single day if it is well documented and good proofs of job available.
Moreover try to learn from others on a forum instead of dictating them. It helps...... No one can be perfect neither you nor me....... These are all observations..

You can also change to be better, just have faith.

Congratulations on your patience. (can't give you +1 yet ).

They sure are lacking consistency:
- They've changed the rate on which they updated the CAP;
- They've put a CAP on 2174 from one day to the other;
- They've clearly prioritized Completeness Check over regular process (otherwise they wouldn't have increased the rate from 500 per week to 700 per week with the last cap update);
- Now they are prioritizing a (or a few) NOCs;

It is indeed tough. I really hope they do better with Express Entry.

Question - PPR stage - for Appendix A, EYE COLOR - my fiance indicated in our application that his eyes are BLACK but he's not aware that the real color is DARK BROWN. Can we still change it for Appendix A? Will there be an issue about this? Thanks in advance!
