This shouldn't be a problem. I assume you included evidence with your application to prove that she is living in Canada (e.g. salary statements, utility bills, credit card statements, tax returns, etc.)?

Yeah I have attached all the supporting documents for her permanent residence in canada. I think using Y instead of I is not a name change case to submit an affidavit for. Plus, I already submitted a Canadian affidavit sworn by my sister infront of Canadian oath commissioner to claim that I am her real brother.

An update - Guys anyone applying for the Singapore COC (PCC) can do so without the mail from the local VO (with an official PCC Request).
I was able to do so and get the COC appeal approval with the PER mail and Document Checklist, the COC is currently in the process of getting generated.
I did so as I had factored in the time it could possibly take to receive one from Singapore usually a month.

Now awaiting for that much coveted email for MR from the NDVO.

Best wishes to all. Hope this helps. Cheers!! :)
Congrats and good luck to you.. +1 for sharing this valuable info on Singapore PCC.
The procedure stated in SPF is quite confusing to me.
It will be kind of you if you can help me in the process.
1. I am in India - worked in Singapore (foreign worker) sometime back
2. I will apply from India.
3. Should I wait until MR or can I apply now itself. Do they accept PCC request without CIC email requiring one. Also, do they send the PCC to us or directly to CIC.
4. Too many forms and multiple stages stated in SPF website. How exactly did you apply friend?
Thank you very much

But what i heard is this data is updated every week with all the applications they have accepted. This is what my consultancy has told me. Are they cheating me...:(

Buddy its completely wrong information..
Once the document is recieved by CIC after 84 days to 90 days completeness check for your document will take place
Only after completeness check is done it will counted under cap..

NOC 2173 - 699 ( in site is as on august 3rd week ).. So still sep and oct document received by CIC not undergone completeness check
Post that it will be counter under cap
Hope this info help you

Better u try for 2172 you will have a chance instead of this noC

Brother, CIC is continuously accepting apps everyday. They keep it in the order they receive it and open them sequentially. The data on CIC website is completely misleading for innocent people like you who are newbie in this area and thats where the bloody consultants exploit you. Please go through the Spreadsheet and the science behind it. According to SS if "X" people registered on it, then in actual by that time "4X" applications would have reached at CIO. This means the CAPS showing on CIC website represent 1/4th of the actual applications arrived at CIO and thats because those numbers represent the apps which have gone through completeness check i.e. all the required docs are attached or not and NOC relevance. Hope it helps you.

PCC for Saudi Arabia

Hi Friends,

I am an INDIAN citizen. I worked in Saudi Arabia for 18 months during 2009-2010. Now I am working in INDIA. Any idea if I can get PCC from Saudi Arabia now? Is there any standard process for the same.

Has anyone got a PCC from Saudi Arabia police? I contacted their INDIAN embassy but no response from them for my emails... :(

Thanks,
Vig.

Hello guys... Need die help on this:

I hold diploma and B.Tech in engineering. I am also done with my WES evaluation which says Canadian equivalency is Bachelors degree (4 years).

Additionally they have also evaluated my Diploma in engineering which is of 4 years. And in Evaluation result of Diploma....they have mentioned as "Secondary school diploma and Diploma(2 years)".

According to Educational point claiming information provided on CIC website, it states that you can claim 22 points if having two or more post secondary degrees or diploma.

Should consider myself getting 22 points for education? :P

Whats next after receiving PER?? And for how long do i have to wait for the next communication?? Has any Bangladeshi applicant received medical req for 2014 session??
