I had applied for FSW (Federal skilled worker 2014) immigration and waiting for Medicals.

Unfortunately, I might have to travel to United States of America on H1b for 4-5 months on some work assignment. I wanted to know, Could I continue my visa process from United States too? I am very keen to migrate to Canada.

If yes, I will be very thankful to you if you can guide me or give me some link which can guide me. Or any alternative to handle this scenario.

Dear Century/ future- canadian
One of my friend got his application back mentioning Reference letter provided by her employer does not shows clearly that she performs all the duties
mentioned in her reference letter. Now,she has got the reference letter again from the same employer with job duties , (she is performing ) in detail and ready to resend her application but under different NOC. Will there be any issue.
Thanks and Regards

Not an issue at all. NOC selection is judgmental matter. Someone could make mistake in selecting proper NOC. For example, in the last year, I wrongly selected 1111 as my current job. This year I realize that it got to be 0111. So ask his friend to relax. He will select the most appropriate NOCs that match with his duties.

Hi All,

I believe NDVO has not yet started PPR. How about the MR, what is the application date they are working on?

Apologies, unable to access the SS, due to which bothering you.

@Gaurav202

Congatulations,

You r on track for getting PPR & Decision Made before New Year (2015) celebrations, although delay in return of passport may limit u from enjoying new year celebrations in Canada.

If they have not asked for docs to be sent in ONE shot, yes u can send it but i wud prefer single courier. Don't waste case officers time in opening to separate packets.

All the best

are we expecting a speedy MO request as the express entry is about to begin.
I see from spreadsheet one medical request for june 9th. Do we know how they call for MO?
Are they giving more weightage for MNC like Microsoft etc

Congratulations gaurav. All the best for the rest of the process ..

I have a question though on the PCC ="Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six
months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for
yourself and your spouse from India.
"

Do we need to apply for PCC from each state we stayed in India or PCC from delhi should be enough. I have been staying in Delhi for the last 4.5 years, but have stayed in other states for more than 6 months. My wife has been staying with me in Delhi for last 10 months, but has stayed in other states for more than 6 months,

Can somebody who has already applied, please answer this query i have?

Thanks!!

Hi guys,

I have one more query, in an ideal situation once a medical request is received by the NDVO, within how many days
are they suppose to send a PPR?

Just wanted to understand, how much delayed is the process at NDVO.
