I presume that nobody can answer your question apart from NDVO adjudicators. Oscar7 used to have a crystall ball for predictions, but he doesn't post in the thread anymore :(

Buddy i dont know how they are working i get the MR just after 4 hours when the second lin added in the ECAS status its weird some one told me that wil do BG checks but how can they do the BG checks in 4 hours ?? or mac 4 days as my status says they started processing on 4th Nov and got MR on 7th Nov but status on ECAS changed on 7th Nov only ...its weird and above my thoughts .

Think this year processing is very different. Previously MR used to be one of the last stages, but now they are starting with MR, RPRF and PCC requests even before assigning a Visa officer.
Only after receiving MR/PCC/RPRF application is kept in queue and a visa office is assigned and Background checks and other validations are taking place.

This year, I think a MR request is just the start of the process and not the phase near the end like in the past. Hope this clarifies everything, and why we are getting MR requests immediately after application is received at VO.

Thank you for this information. I found a FAQ for Case Processing Centre – Ottawa and it says:

I need to send documents that are part of the application process. Where do I send them?
Scan and e-mail documents (other than police certificates) to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca

This is the link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/ottawa.asp

You should have the address in the email they sent you for the Medicals. This is the case with NDVO and I sent it to the address in the email I received for Medicals.

:) :)Good Morning to All :) :)

Just want to share my personal experience here.
In my original application last May 14, I listed my wife and 2 kids as NON-ACCOMPANYING and only prepared 550 cad for myself as processing fee. After I received an MR email, i updated my wife and 2 kids as ACCOMPANYING and prepared another DD for their processing fee. And now we are currently waiting for our passports with Visa to arrive from the local VO.

I shared it here because some time ago as I posted my case here, there were many so called experts told me that my application will be rejected because I didn't pay for the processing of my wife and kids, eventhough it's non accompanying.

Thanks.
This is highly valuable.
+1 for you.
Good luck in your pursuit.

I want to ask the forum that MR are being issued at a consistent pace by NDVO but none of member has shared anything if there were any background check that happened at their current or former workplace regarding job profile at workplace. Its not possible with so many people are being checked and none ever came to know if verification were done or not or NDVO is issuing MR without work exp verification

Shakti, I am not sure if I completely agree with you. There is a possibility of what you said might be true because no one has got a PPR from NDVO until now. But, if what you said it the case, then everyone until May 30 should have got the Medicals by now. There are many people waiting from May 7 till 30th May who have not got the Medical Request from NDVO. There might a sequence like Files 1 to 10 goes to Officer One, 2 to 20 to Officer two etc. but even if that is the case, most of them should have got their Medicals by now.

I think this is what is happening for applicants who received MR/RPRF for NDVO. I know this because of the response I got that my application is awaiting review from officer.

It could happen that people have not come back to the forum to update the sheet, lot of people will fall off after PER and dont visit forum.

Guys its practically not possible for NDVO to do verification for all applicant (Approx 1500 as of now).
What i understand from pattern of NDVO is they have created 3 groups..
1. Who got MR, RPRF & PCC
2. All Applicant with 2nd line in ECAS but no MF
3. Applicant stull waiting with only 1line or PER...

So now what we can conclude is the 1 group may not get any kind of verification. Other 2 group they will check again and in case of any doubt they may do any sort of verification..

However, its just my assumption.. better to take advice from Seniors or experts..

All the best to all Guys.. hope all will get PR sooner or later..

Why don't you guys order GCMS notes to find out what's going on with the apps at NDVO?

Re: urgentttttt

We received PER on 27th Aug --> status on ECAS changed on 7th Nov ----> Got medical request on 7th Nov ... They took almost 70 days before changing the status

I think you are done with Medicals right? Suggest you to update your timeline in your Forum Profile, this will help others see what stage you are at.

I heard from people who applied last year that whenever you send a mail to NDVO and they is no response or additional docs required from your side, usually they respond with the statement as "Your application is under review and no response is required from you at this stage" something like that. So, I guess nothing to worry as of now.
