Friends,
I want to share my experience with you.
I am CPC-O applicant.
Applied on May 23rd 2014,
Application received by CIC on May 29th 2014,
PER received on Sept 23rd 2014.
That time, my ECAS Stats was:
In Process --->
1) We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.
But as soon as I get My PER, I have sent the PCC, up front Medicals and RPRF to CPC-O even without waiting for their response.
On October 23rd 2014 my ECAS Status changed to
In Process --->
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.
And on October 31st 2014 again ECAS status changed to:
In Process--->
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on October 31, 2014.
3. Medical results have been received.
I also see the trend foe CPC-O that, everybody get MR, PCC and RPRF request on the same day when they get update of the line “We started processing your application on October XX,XXXX”
In my case, since they have already received all the necessary documents, I did not get any further E-Mail up on the updating of the file process “We started processing your application on October XX,XXXX”

As I understand from my case, VO's are “Predictably unpredictable”.
I just want to let you guys know the work style and case processing at VO's.

Kindly share upfront Medical process in Canada. +1

app: 7 July
CC charged: 22 Oct
Code: 2131
No per yet...
Is it normal...?
Is there any July 7th aplicant didn't get per yet? So far I remember I have added all the docs accordingly except the silly mistake in my job experience in Schedule 3: economic class form. I wrote from: 2014/7 to: 2013/05. It should be From 2013/05 to:2014/07. Is that a cause of delay?

Do you think I will get NER for that?

Appriciate ur advice..thanks!

PER sometimes takes 4 weeks to process. Email them for status update to ease tension (they will follow up in 45 days).

Hi seniors,

Greeting,

I am planning to apply next week. I have a doubt regarding supplementary information on travel.
I am from Nepal and studied in India. During this time I travel between Nepal and India 100 times. Also there is no document required to travel between the two countries. What shall I fill now? ..... Please advise..... Also in generic form what shall I show for status as my current country is India and I am free to reside here without any document. Also request you to let me on know about the PCC as the police is not using certificate you me being non indian.... Can I only submit certificate of Nepal when asked by VO later?
Also let me know if it will add value if I show sponsorship letter or support letter from my brother for whom I m getting points.... Just to show he is citizen of Canada and he has bank balance and house to accommodate me...... Please let me know your suggestions ASAP.....

Thanks

Without IME number, how he/she was recognized by the doctor? how it possible?

dear friends,
just checked my ECAS status which was just reflected tonight, using UCI from Canadian visiting visa.
it showed 'in process' - we received your application for permanent residence on July 14, 2014.
CC drawn on 30th October 2014, however yet to receive PER.
please whats the significance of this ECAS update.

thanks

PER is coming with 99% probability. Good luck.

I also had no IME number when obtaining SP. I provided the clinic with my UCI, and it did the trick. I wonder if he employed the same tactics in Canada.

Thanks Ashif,
Shall i go ahead and send other documents like India PCC and "Right of Permanent Residence fee". I have sent e-mail to CPO-O, requesting additional time and planning to send justification mail along with other docs.

Dear all,

I am a 25 July applicant and I still haven't got anything from CIC. I am only worried regarding my reference letter from my previous employer (Ministry of Defense) as they are writing references without company letterhead due to their Confidential Documents Law, but it is signed and stamped properly. So I was forced to send it as I received from them although I know that is a must according the document checklist from CIO. Btw this letter does not bring me any points because it belongs to the NOC which is not on the list of 50 eligible occupations, but I must added it in my 10 years work experience according the CIO. Should this be an issue when CIO agent would estimate my eligibility for entering Canada, what do you think? In the end, I have 71 self-calculated points. Please advice, should I be worried about this?

Best regards,
Boban

If you are not claiming points for your employment with MoD, it is irrelevant to the processing of your application. Good luck!
