I have applied for 2173 - on 13th AUG.
What are the chances that iam in cap?
Does cap count include applications after fee charged only or after completeness check.
Plz clarify my doubts.
Thanks in advance.

You are definitely in cap.

NO CanOl ,my question is about different postal code

purolator.com shows my package has been delivered to another postal code and also the name of signatory has never got any other applications
thats why I am nervous

please open the SS, search for "MACNEIL"
you will find 39 files received by MACNEIL
so I think no problem

second,
Google both zip codes, and you will see they are for the same building of CIO

APPLICATIONS INCLUDED IN CAPPING
Note:-Website provides an estimate only of the applications included in the cap.

Stage 1-Application unchecked (not opened) is not counted as being received.
-When you mail CIC, if your application is at stage 1 you will receive a reply that there is no record of yours with them.

Stage 2-Application checked for completeness is counted as received. Once application is checked and seen as complete
it is counted as submission.
At stage 2, the CIC officers do the following:-
1. Check that all forms are properly filled and completed.
2. Check that forms are signed and dated.
3. Relevant copies of documentary evidence are submitted along with the application.
Note:-Your application will be marked with pencil or red pen and you will be assigned UCI #
Condition 1: If stage 2 is not satisfactory, application will be returned and not charged.
Condition 2: If stage 2 is satisfactory, application goes into processing and charged.
All applications at condition 2 will be counted towards CAPPING.

Stage 3: Eligibility review
Stage 2 goes into further processing where applications are checked against the 6 factors of the FSWP.
All applications that go into stage 3 will be charged with no refund and this may attract either:
1. PER-Positive Eligibility Review
2. NER-Negative Eligibility Review

At this point, you will receive an email from CIC about a PER or NER.
From this point if you receive a PER mail with UCI #, application # & receipt # and your file will be transferred
to your local visa office for further processing.
For a NER, you will receive a mail stating that your application can't be processed further for not meeting the
eligibility requirements of FSW.

Hi Friend,

what is the significance of NER email and money will also not returned...........why they are not checking this in step 2??? if the application is not meeting the eligibilty criteria then why are they charging it..they have to straightway return that file...

Hello Experts,

I am ready with my file to be send by 12/13th Nov'14 for NOC 2173, but looking into latest figures for NOC 2173 i.e 699 and some of the above posts stating it would be impossible to get through cap for 2173 now even if I apply within 2days.

I want your opinion whether it would be still worth to apply and snd file in next two days for NOC 2173
Or
It is best to not send file now and wait for EE to be anounced and send file then....

I guess if i send file now and caps fills in months time then only it would take some time for CIC to return our rejected file...may be 2-3 months so by that time EE will start and I am afraid we would again late to apply via EE.

Please guide me but i sense i should stil go ahead and take chances as EE is not similar to FSW and it is difficult to get through EE.

Thank you
As I can see it is very unlikely to squeeze into this cap now, alas. It's your decision but I wouldn't waste my time and money if I had this NOC now.

Hi

I have a confusion to clear

My CC is charged last week and I was waiting for the PER. But now I have seen that the NoC in which I have applied (1112) is capped yesterday.

Want to anxiously whether I am part of this cap or ?

YehCanada

If your cc has been charged that means you are 100% in Cap. Stay postive and be happy

Good luck

URGENT URGENT URGENT

If someone is Non- Chartered accountant and applied for NOC 1111 and already got PER. Can NDVO create problems for MR , RPRF and PPR?? Can they reject on the basis on Education for NOC 1111?? I am Non CA but already have PER

Bharaa thodi thand rakh... someone will reply you give some time to let the right person answer you. Your query is quite visible to all.

If your job duties matches that with the noc and to certain extend you have minimum qualification as per NOC than you are fine.

Good luck think positive please

Dear Valued members,

I had applied for FSW 2014 program in June. The details are as below :
Application Sent : 04-June-2014
Application received at CIO Sydney(NS) Office : 09-June-2014
Primary NOC 2011 Code: 2133
Calculated Points: 79
Payment Mode : CC(Citi Bank)_Also I had notified my Bank for the upcoming transaction from "IMMIGRATION CANADA FSW - SYDNEY NS.

Since from the time of submission 150 days are over, so how long further CIO will take in order to send across the PER or their decision.

Do I need to send them a email ? If so then on which email ID & how long will they take to respond?
Also is there any option that I can call them on any telephone or helpline number ?

Looking forward for your valuable comments and suggestions soon.

Thanks,
Regards,
Parm

My Friend!!!

AOR aka Acknowledgement of Receipt is Actually PER. (Reference GCMS notes) ;)

PER is the Forum Term.

The AOR we talk about in the forum is the 2nd one from Local VO Stating that local VO has received it. Earlier they used to send AOR From local VO by mail in a printed format which contained a Thank You letter for interest in Canada, Receipt for Processing Fee and some others as well (dont Remember). Now They send email from Local VO.

Very interesting information. Can't repeat karma action though >:( >:( >:(

guys plz it's urgent

I m really stressful ::)

the name of Signatory who has received my application is not in the spreadsheet Signatory name list I wonder who was he and why his name is not in the list and he has never got any other applications from couriers ...

In recent past many new names has been seen who are receiving documents at cio, these are officers responsible for receiving and sorting only, if your courior is delivered at right place you are fine.

Good luck
