My prediction is it's too late to apply under 2171 now.

Thank you all for your inputs.. This is GREAT forum with plenty of useful information...
I will better wait and apply through EE next year..

Now that I have all the documents, I believe I will ready will all my forms and paperwork to apply right away through EE next year..

This week I just got an experience certification from my HR for 2173 saying my current job duties as of till date, can I use the same certificate for next year or should I produce new certificate as of that time when I apply..

Dear Seniors

I was wondering about after getting PER what does the VO exactly do check before they decide to send you MR?

Maybe they check the job experience background, upload all the BC information on the system, check travel history and PCC. Then they send you the MR and PCC request in case you didnt send it.

Am I right? please let me know... Thank you in advance!

Hi guys,
I have applied for 2173 - on 13th AUG.
What are the chances that iam in cap?
Does cap count include applications after fee charged only or after completeness check.
Plz clarify my doubts.
Thanks in advance.

hi, seniors,

what are the standards of Cio to check the matching of nocs? they consider the duties they posted or the title and specific duties that applicants really perform in their daily work, if the specific duties are not quite similar to the duties they posted?

thanks for the guiding!

Job duties are important and those should match with that specified in NOC. Job title/designation are not required to be same as mentioned in designation list.

Good Luck

NO CanOl ,my question is about different postal code

purolator.com shows my package has been delivered to another postal code and also the name of signatory has never got any other applications
thats why I am nervous

You are really strange man! more than three or four applicants already assured you that Macneil received their applications, but you insist on repeating the same phrase the name of signatory has never got any other applications !!!!!!!

In my passport,my permanent address is written as "Khalshi, Daulatpur,Manikganj", i.e. my village name is mentioned as "Khalshi". But unfortunately in my marriage certificate, permanent address is "Khulshi , Daulatpur,Manikganj" (Spelling of my village KHULSHI instead of KHASHI). apart of village name, everything is ok (like P.S. , District).
Should i consider this as a major discrepancy??

They check everything you provided in your application in more detail and scrutiny, verify any information that needs verification, and perform background and security checks on the people mentioned in the application. Therefore, the timeline for processing in VO is highly variable depending on individual applications and can sometimes overturn the positive eligibility.

Attention!!!! NDVO Applicants.

Is there anyone who has submitted PCC along with initial Application and got MR?

Or is it that everyone who got MR has received PCC and/or Additional Documents request?

Hi Fren I had sent my and spouse PCC along with my application. I received my MR and other doc request on 24 October.

Cheers!!

I would say your chances are good since the current cap update is for late July/August applications.

APPLICATIONS INCLUDED IN CAPPING
Note:-Website provides an estimate only of the applications included in the cap.

Stage 1-Application unchecked (not opened) is not counted as being received.
-When you mail CIC, if your application is at stage 1 you will receive a reply that there is no record of yours with them.

Stage 2-Application checked for completeness is counted as received. Once application is checked and seen as complete
it is counted as submission.
At stage 2, the CIC officers do the following:-
1. Check that all forms are properly filled and completed.
2. Check that forms are signed and dated.
3. Relevant copies of documentary evidence are submitted along with the application.
Note:-Your application will be marked with pencil or red pen and you will be assigned UCI #
Condition 1: If stage 2 is not satisfactory, application will be returned and not charged.
Condition 2: If stage 2 is satisfactory, application goes into processing and charged.
All applications at condition 2 will be counted towards CAPPING.

Stage 3: Eligibility review
Stage 2 goes into further processing where applications are checked against the 6 factors of the FSWP.
All applications that go into stage 3 will be charged with no refund and this may attract either:
1. PER-Positive Eligibility Review
2. NER-Negative Eligibility Review

At this point, you will receive an email from CIC about a PER or NER.
From this point if you receive a PER mail with UCI #, application # & receipt # and your file will be transferred
to your local visa office for further processing.
For a NER, you will receive a mail stating that your application can't be processed further for not meeting the
eligibility requirements of FSW.

Thanks for this crisp infinformation

Here is your awaited +1, Thanks again for your invaluable contribution.

They can do whatever they want there, including random quality checks which means they randomly select some files for enchanced scrutiny, e.g. verification calls, mails, interviews and stuff like that. You never know how this kitchen exactly works. Think of it as of a blackbox with its inputs and outputs. You have already made your inputs and have no power to control what's in there. Now wait for the outputs and live your life as usual, having the immigration process as a background process. Good way to remain calm and avoid excessive anxiety.

Wish you best luck and +1 for patience :)

Hello Experts,

I am ready with my file to be send by 12/13th Nov'14 for NOC 2173, but looking into latest figures for NOC 2173 i.e 699 and some of the above posts stating it would be impossible to get through cap for 2173 now even if I apply within 2days.

I want your opinion whether it would be still worth to apply and snd file in next two days for NOC 2173
Or
It is best to not send file now and wait for EE to be anounced and send file then....

I guess if i send file now and caps fills in months time then only it would take some time for CIC to return our rejected file...may be 2-3 months so by that time EE will start and I am afraid we would again late to apply via EE.

Please guide me but i sense i should stil go ahead and take chances as EE is not similar to FSW and it is difficult to get through EE.

Thank you

Minor issue, not a big deal really.
