Today I've got an email asking me to pay the RPR fee and I paid and sent the official receipt along with the email to the visa office in Bucharest by DHL.
Should I look forward to asking for PPR soon? do you have any idea if it's days or months?
Please share experience.

Yes, if CIC updates their CAP status by the end of third week of Nov. The updated CAP status will have all applications included for Aug.
There are still chances for your application to be in the cap but I would ask you to pray to GOD and hope for the best.

My CC got charged on 22nd Oct. Application on July 4, 2014. Still waiting anxiously for PER. I am a little worried because I am seeing other persons CC being charged after October 22 but they have gotten PER. This waiting really nerve racking.

For me - I received COPR about a month after I paid my fee.

Asking my question again:
the waiting time for cc encash in around 3 to 4 months. Is this waiting time gets longer as the application date is later? I am a Sep 2 applicant and with the current numbers I should have my cc encashed by mid Dec. Do you think I will see it then or will it be after the new year vacation?

Sorry I could not get you....which assumption are you talking about that only 73 apps are filed ? Ya it might be changed since last week (These are the figures as per the cic website today). Or you are talking about the other assumption that I can apply at CIO-Sydney ?

The figures on the CIC site indicate completeness check for applications they have processed at the time they updated the cap. The completeness check is due up to 84 days since the receipt of the file. Thus on October 10 (date CIC site got updated) they have c-checked apps submitted before July 18 +/-5 days. And this is the date you are looking at, not November 6.

My cc was charged several days ago. I would like to start requesting my police certificate from my home country through the embassy (because I live abroad now). The embassy of my home country told me that it would take at least 3 months, therefore I would like to start now. Is it ok? Can you please advise on it? When should I expect a request for police certificates? In general police certificates are valid for 12 months. Am I right?
There is an option for me to go home and do it in person (it can be obtained on the same day in person as far as I know), but I would prefer not to travel.

Order it asap. They will provide you with a receipt. When the VO requests you to provide PCC, you will present it as proof of submission to extend the timeframe you are given to comply.

Just an update. I finally got a response to the email I sent CIO on Sep 19 about the additional document I sent to attach to my application. They responded that my application was returned as incomplete (which I already know) and that they received my additional document and will be retaining it. Now why would they retain my original document if my application was returned as incomplete? I don't understand the logic to that.

Hi dear please help. I'm also in almost same situation. My original package reached at cio on 24th of October and I have sent some corrected and updated forms again which will probably reach tomorrow that is after 13 days of first submission. Would you please share or inbox me their replied email which you got yesterday? What is your opinion? Will they attach the updated forms to my original one?
