Of course they do check the records from PP,
Did they clearly mentioned the reason of refusal or due to CAP getting full, was the only reason ?
Coz, work verification comes at later stage so i dont think so this could be step back from Apply again, MOVE AHEAD

The reason for rejection had been mentioned in the letter was " Your application was received after the maximum of 500 complete Federal Skilled Worker applications per NOC 1122 was reached.

Since you did not provide evidence that you have an Arranged Employment Offer, you do not meet the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions and your application is not eligible for processing."

Over Phone:


 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.



About the time, check day time after 8 am at Nova scotia

It's normal. when was your application received and has your local VO contacted you yet?

We received your application for permanent residence on May 5, 2014.

We started processing your application on September 8, 2014." - as per the website.

I had just received the e-mail in August that application is eligible for processing and it would be sent to the VO. After which the website updated that my application is in process and the processing has begun.
However, no communication since then.

26th may applicant for NOC 2173

Now people who have already done the above process for Medicals, RPRF please advice ?


Also I would like to add my friend applied for the NOC 1112 (Financial and investment analyst) , 26th May applicant and his PER date was 17th September, Still second line not updated in ecas ? Have any one of same NOC get the MR request

Hello Seniors,

I have sent my application with my passport which doesn't have the name of my spouse added. I have sent a notarized copy of my marriage certificate though. Do I need to apply for a new passport (moreover am I allowed to do so?). I realized this during the time I applied for my PCC.

Good idea will be to send email to withdraw the second application ASAP. Secondly communicate to the Bank that you have the card and is not lost. All the best! (Add the 550 dollar charged to your investment for Canada PR.

(You can give me -1 ;D, but I think you disappointed yourself by communicating wrongly to the bank regarding cc...you had enough time to inform CIC and withdraw, so someone just after the cap would have been lucky )
