First of all the photos which you send with the application are not the same size as passport photos. Pls refer to the photo specifications in the application package



And yes, the photos can be re used as long as they meet the specifications and if they are not more than 6 months old

Thanks for your response, and yes you are right about the photo specifications, they meet the sizing specifications, and CIC did not say anything
about the photos. But if if my re-application package get to CIO on 20th November, Do you think photos of 3rd july are still acceptable, i am just being careful.

Hello everyone,

Quick question: In the "Principal Applicant's Personal Details" section of the "Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)", Question 12 asks about previous countries of residence "Check the box to indicate whether you have lived in any country other than your country of citizenship or your current country of residence for more than six (6) months in the past five (5) years."

I went to college in the United States for four years but was never there for six consecutive months and will not be submitting an PCC from the American authorities because it is explicitly stated that you don't have to if that's the case.

Do I have to answer question 12 with a 'Yes'? If so, should I enter the entire four year period as the from-to dates even though I was only there from August to December and January to May every year? Also, I graduated from college in May of 2010 so would that mean that only the period from November of 2009 onward is relevant to this question? (In which case I was there from August/November '09 to December '09 and January '10 to May '10; neither stay was six consecutive months)

I have no idea how to answer this. Thanks for your help.

I know there would have been huge burden on NDVO as majority of applicants are from there, but at least start with single PPR

 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

Hi bro,

Its gonna be Okay. But personally speaking, don't leave any loose ends which may keep you worried for a long time after u send the application. Why dont you go with a fresh set of photographs just to make sure.
And dont feel dumb in asking questions. most of us are are kind of the same way when they start in the forum

Yes, it is possible, but you need to be careful not to repeat the error you made in your previous application. Moreover, if your job duties change in the supporting documents to your second application, it may be seen as misrepresentation.

You should also be aware that you need to have at least one year of work experience in the occupation code under which you are applying, and that you have a limited time period left during which you may apply directly under the current Federal Skilled Worker Program. After January 1, 2015, there will be no eligible occupation list and candidates will not be able to apply directly to the program. From that date, the Express Entry immigration selection system will come into operation.
