One of my frnd wants to start processing for fsw...
So he would be able to send his docs by mid of January... is it late for him or cic have extend the dead line of fsw...????

Would suggest your friend to file application by Mid December atmost, bcoz Express entry has been already announced, only thing we dont know is when it is going to start, most estimates say January 2015, and if it does i am sure they will close down FSW 2014 and application received during that time as per FSW 2014 guidelines will be considered in Express Entry...
So to be on safe side file by December Mid....
Also nothing is confirmed right now, this are mere estimates, but it is good to be on safe side if possible...

I am a newcomer to this forum , obviously my first post . Well let me introduce myself I am having 7+ years experience and currently working as a software engineer so would like to apply in 2173 - Software Engineers and Designers. Well the cap so far is 425, is this the applications received count ? can any one throw some light if there are good chances if i apply now ?? :.

I would say by the time your application reaches CIC, the cap will be full (only estimates) 99.99%...
If you can find any other NOC which is not hot and suits your job duties, u should go for it, if not then would suggest you to wait for express entry and by the time prepare your documents and make your file ready....
Express entry is estimated to start in January 2015.

Hello everyone...

Finally 3 days long Medical test is over!!! Went thru whole medical test plus ECG, ECHO 2D, createnine, Cardiologist , Urine retest, Numerous BP check.

Thank God, I know my Heart and Kidneys are normal, but they found I have protein in my Urine and I have high blood pressure. They suggested me to go for hypertension treatment.

Anyone going for Medicals, I would suggest don't eat too much before going for test, drink 3-4 liters of water, just before test drink atleast 1 liter of water. If possible go in Morning, not possible in Pune as they start at 12:00pm. And if you come at 12:30 you might be able to start test after 2/3pm. Since it handles all the countries, there is lot of rush.

You can land and live anywhere except Quebec. you can only land at the air port but can't enter the territory. after living about 6 months at anywhere in Canada you can enter Quebec territory

I have applied on 11 july......cc mode.....though no charging done yet.....dont know about my file's fate but i am gonna watch until this whole novemeber before i call CIC.....although i have sent an email already which will take eons to get a reply......

i helped so many friends at work and my fiends as well for filing FSW.......some of them have got pers ......but they applied before me....

I am definitely loosing hope now.....but still have Plan- B for myself......i would like to go otherwise on Study visa... n then look for CEC visa afterwards/

Hi All & good morning
I am a Pakistani national but working in UAE. I sent my full application package 3 days ago to CIC office in Sydney.
They will be receiving it today or tomorrow. Now I sent my resident visa copy of UAE also showing that I live and work in UAE.
My question is , is it fast or equal to apply from Islamabad, Pakistan or from Dubai, UAE in sense of processing times and all.
How much total time is expected these days ? I checked the cic website but the time there is just toooo much like 27 months.
