How does after landing process work if I wish to leave Canada in 2 weeks after landing?

I would not have an address in Canada. How would I obtain PR card and Social Insurance Number and other documents?

Ideally one should stay till he gets the PR card, for easy arrival and departure from Canada. Also teh PR card is delivered only to canadian address. So you need to give some address in Canada, where the card will be delivered in your absence if you plan to go back in 2 weeks.

You can apply for PR card and SIN at the airport itself or services Canada offices..

Hi

Got another query.

I've a situation. I am using my SSC (10th) passing certificate as proof of date of birth. It has a spelling mistake. Do I need to get an affidavite to explain the situation or simple letter by me is fine?

Make an affidavit.

I think there is a decent chance that your new documents will be added to your app!
Thanks alot

Hi every one,

We finally managed to compile everything and submitted our documents last week. Unfortunately I forget to include the additional family information form (5406) for the accompanying wife. Is there any way to post it separately?

Cordially,
Mostafa

Thanks Canol

If you had sent valid PCCs at the time of initial application, then don't send new PCCs again. Wait for further instructions from VO.

Hey,

I have applied for Canada PR under FSW.
When I check my current status it says 'in process'. It says the application has began processing since Sept 8th.

However I have not received any communication since then.

Need help. Is this normal? Anyone else like me?

Thanks for your reply Namaste +1 I will apply for FBI as per your suggestion!!! To be on safer side

Yes, you should definitely get another FBI PCC. CIC asks that the PCC be no more than 3 months old at the time of submission. In your case, it was 8 months old. Also, PCCs are valid for one year only and if they expire by the time your application reaches the VO, you will be asked to submit a new one by the VO. Either way, with the current processing time for FBI PCC, you should apply for a fresh one ASAP.
