I have received MR and RPRF email, went for the examination and paid the RPRF fees.
My E-CAS status still has 1st and the only line.
Anyone else with the same situation?

Your medicals shall be cleared to get the line "Medicals have been received"
It takes 1-2 weeks for CPC-O to clear the medicals.

How come you did not get the 2nd line "We have started processing your application on XXX"?
Hopefully you will get this week.

Don't be. It's updated once a week, and the IPA who's handling your file should bring it forward first. You are worrying about nothing, really.

Good morning brother. I need your opinion buddy. I recently applied for fsw.

I have 3 experiences..

1. Volunteer experience for about 10 months

2. Paid experience for 5 month

3. Paid experience for 4.2 years.


My question is.. I made a cover letter stating that I am only claiming points in my latest experience which is 4.2 years.... And the last 2 experience is a generic employment letter not the cic experience letter they are requiring.... Would that be ok?


Lastly, with regard to my volunteer experience.. My letter is telling my start date until present.... I am very anxious that there should be an end date to it... However, I am not claiming points for it . do you think I need to update it and send an additional letter to cio. My app received date is oct 7'

So you think we don't need to and additional documents for that..

If you don't need the work experience for either qualification or for points, then it is not mandatory to submit proof of that employment. You should however write a coverletter mentioning the same. I did not send a reference letter for my most recent job as I did not need points from this one. I only sent supporting documents like job offer and paystubs and a self-written duties. I have a PER already.

I think CIC will calculate the points for your work experience by themselves. you just need to let they know the details of every work and they will make judgement. If you get to 67 points with 4.2 years experience, that's ok.
For your volunteer experience, it would be better to have a end date. I think additional letter is needed to explain the reference letter.

Folks, I have a doubt. We are supposed to show security deposit like FD, cash etc right? In my case I have cash in my account and I m going to show that as security amount. Now how long should I maintain it? Until we get PER or until we land?

We need to send 6 photo's.
On back of 5 photo's we need to write
a. Name of the person who appears in photo
b. Date of births of the person
c. Date on which photograph was taken.
And 1 photo we need not do anything.

I am 15th July applicant and not sure whether the DD is encashed. Would I see an immediate update in ECAS once the DD is cashed or should it be happening only on Tuesdays. Let me know your thoughts????

I had requested my UCI number and which was mentioned in their reply on 15h October . Does it mean the completeness check was done before that or they are doing it????

Please be advised that your application is in initial processing at CIO Sydney. Our office is unable to provide a timeframe for processing. Your UCI is ****** ( this UCI number does not have '- ' , Is this normal)

Its until we land. When you land the Officer might ask you to show the proof of funds. So better maintain it.
