Need Help
i got my PCC request from CPC-OTTAWA on september 24th . i have to send my PCC by 24th November

i m in USA. the fbi used to take 1 month for the PCC. now it takes 3 months due to the system upgrade at fbi

i applied fpr pcc at fbi on sept 11th. and i am sure i am not going to get it by Nov 24th.

i am really nervous.

Please tell me wht to do.
Is there ant one else with the same problem ?

When is your ECAS status updated that "We have started processing your application"

Can you share the sample (Delete important details and mail ID's) Email of CPC-O for Medical and RPRF request?

Did they request you for PCC?

My ECAS has still not been updated. It just says We received your application on ....
Yes they did request for PCC as i had not provided them with the PCC with my initial application.

Good morning brother. I need your opinion buddy. I recently applied for fsw.

I have 3 experiences..

1. Volunteer experience for about 10 months

2. Paid experience for 5 month

3. Paid experience for 4.2 years.


My question is.. I made a cover letter stating that I am only claiming points in my latest experience which is 4.2 years.... And the last 2 experience is a generic employment letter not the cic experience letter they are requiring.... Would that be ok?


Lastly, with regard to my volunteer experience.. My letter is telling my start date until present.... I am very anxious that there should be an end date to it... However, I am not claiming points for it . do you think I need to update it and send an additional letter to cio. My app received date is oct 7'

Hello, it is confirmed now. The 1000th 2174 application was on or before July 4th. All subsequent 2174 applicants are beyond cap. In a PM, I asked user "lakhwindr", who marked his July 4th application entry on the SS as "Application Rejected" for the reason of rejection, and he told me that CIC told him he did not make it within cap. He said he would update his SS entry with the reason of rejection, but I am not sure if he's done it yet.

That means CIC had checked all apps until July 4th for completeness by October 10th (last time they updated the cap), which would mean they checked all apps from then up until early September (as per our assumption based on latest known rejection) in 25 days? That sounds extremely fast to me.

If we use the other assumption that SS has about 30-40% of worldwide apps we come to 744 apps on SS from July 7th to Sept 2nd, so apps worldwide in that period should be around 1860-2480. Thats about 650-850 applications per week!

I believe something must be going on, looks like a complete change of strategy from CIC compared to what they showed the first couple of months. It's looking more likely to me that maybe, as some forum members have suggested, they have focused on completeness review to close the busiest NOCs as soon as possible and clear the path for Express Entry next year.

I am 15th July applicant and not sure whether the DD is encashed. Would I see an immediate update in ECAS once the DD is cashed or should it be happening only on Tuesdays. Let me know your thoughts????

I had requested my UCI number and which was mentioned in their reply on 15h October . Does it mean the completeness check was done before that or they are doing it????

Please be advised that your application is in initial processing at CIO Sydney. Our office is unable to provide a timeframe for processing. Your UCI is ****** ( this UCI number does not have '- ' , Is this normal)
