Do people go to work during this kind of harsh weather? -20 C or work from home or just skip the work?

And more importantly, does the heating systems work at these low temperatures?

Hi Bro, If you don't like UK winter you definitely won't like Canada's. but you will get used to it. I asked my sister 2 days ago about the weather in Edmonton and excitedly she told me the weather was really good. IT WAS -20

Guys!!

I had done my medicals on 18th October in Bangalore(NDVO). It has been 2 weeks now but my ECAS status is not updated to say "Medicals Received". Is there anybody who is in the same situation. I have seen the spread sheet but the ECAS status is not updated to reflect current status I believe. Can seniors throw some light?

All the best for the guys waiting for PER/Medicals and PPR.

Go to the hospital where you had medicals done and check with doctors whether they have send your medicals to NDVO, if they had send then wait for some time it will get updated....Thanks

Yes they will send it on that email id unless you have sent a representative form with his email id. In that case all communication will be done on your representatives email.

How do we know if medicals are fine?

I think Medical received in ECAS mean that medicals are received by CIC, and evaluation is happening?

Do any one of you know how and when we know that medicals are fine, and how many days this will take after third line appears on ECAS?

I have been reading mixed comments, just want to ask which of the following documents need to be "CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES" and which should be "JUST COPIES":

1. Copies of Passports (in English)
2. Copy of Work Experience Letter from the Employer (in English)
3. Copies of Foreign Educational Credentials (In English) (accompanied by original ECA from WES) to be sent original only
4. Copies of documents from Relative in Canada (passport, Tax, bill, bank statement, etc) (In English)
5. Bank Certification Letter (In English)
6. Identity & Civil Status Documents (Bilingual, one of them is English)
7. Children info (BCs, bilingual on of them is English)
8. PCC (English) to be sent original only

I have receive an email from 10 job companies offering the best jobs to me, as soon as I apply.

Email from someone telling me I have won £10,000,000 and some other guy offering to transfer $500,000 in to my account for unknown reasons.

Email from at least 5 banks offering me easy loans.

Email from Dr. Expert claiming that he will cure my hair fall & greying for cheap.

5 matrimonial sites have most suited matches for me.

3 pharmacies offering me their break thru anti-aging medicine for free

3 universities are giving me degrees in random subjects.

In addition, I get about 100 mails from hot girls named Janice, Angelina, Fatima & Priya who are feeling lonely and want to meet me.

What else can one ask for in my life...? 8) ;D

it is mentioned in checklist form "point no 17 :-* :-*

I guess you meant Edmonton, Canada not Edmonton, Enfield London. Yes, if I live in Toronto then it'll take sometime but I'll have to get used to the horrible depressing winter! (Just like I got used to it in London)
