Dear Forum Friends

Today I happened to check my sugar levels prior to doing my FSW medicals..Levels were 85 and 120 fasting & PP which is normal

But My HBA1C level is about 7.3. So my family phsycian suggested that i might have had a higher sugar level during last few months
but currently it is normal. Doctor said that it a pre-diabetic case ..... I was shocked and feeling worried now

Has anyone of you had similar experience? Is it a good idea not to mention it in Medical test. Can anyone advise what tests exactly they will perform?

Really worried about during the medical tests.....What will happen if they discover high H1Ac levels more than 6.5 ......

Need more help from your friends...I am planning to do medicals by November end 2014 as i need to submit all documents by 13-Dec-2014

Really worried about my average H1 ac level...What does one need to do to bring lower H1ac levels?????

Awaiting for your reply....

My international driving license was valid for 1 year. Then I got my G1 Canadian driving license one week after being in Canada. I also got my full G Canadian driving license earlier this year.

Note: Without an international driver license, I would have been allowed to use my drivers license from my home country for only 3 months in Canada.

Wishes Diplomatru!...and one doubt on DL. Is International Driving License valid for 3months or 1 year after landing?

If you don't like UK winters you sure as heck won't like Canadian winters!

@Jaxon

Canadian winters will be worse, FYI.

Hi Guys,

Please support.

I got my Medical and PCC request on 10 October, but my agent somehow forgot to send me an intimation mail.

Now, my medicals are done and received by CIC. But, I have initiated the PCC process now for India & UK.

And, ironically, my deadline is 24th November.

I am confused, whether should I wait for PCC ??
Or
Can I send the landing fee and remaining documents ??

Thanks in advance
Regards

Please friends,

i am apply for FSW under the physiotherapy i have all the years of experiences for the requirements and i once worked as a personal assistance to a pilot for a year immediately i got out of school, my problem now is that i have search for the NOC code and there is nothing like that, do I still fill it as part of my work experience without the code? or do i leave out of my work experience in the economic classes form.

please anybody with any info should please help me

You only need to list employment that falls under NOC skill type 0 or skill level A or B. I don't think personal assistants do. So you can leave that out.

Not sure of UK PCC.

For Indian PCC, Check with regional passport office. If your passport address and PCC location comes under the purview of the same passport office, then you can get PCC in 2-3 hours flat. If that happens, you can send all docs together with PCC and pay RPRF.

Else check for Police PCC and how long they take to issue. If process is completed in few days, send docs with PCC and pay RPRF.

In case PCC is taking time, send the rest of the docs and RPRF to VO and ask VO to extend deadline for PCC. It may work.

Dear members, how long dose it take for ECA status to be updated? My cc charged on 1st November, I have a UCI number and I'm trying to check my ECA but there is nothing!
When should I expect to get PER email ?
Thanx

Hello folks

In the application, Pay the Fees means completing the Fee Payment form and including it in the application. I assume there is nowhere else that we pay during initial application.

Am I right? I believe so ;D

Thanks

Amit

May take time. Anyways that's not important. What matters is PER which you should get in around 10 days or so.

Hi,

I am a Finance Professional and is interested to know what is the best city in term of Jobs for finance professionals.

I opted Missisagua in my FSW application, Is it OK? And do i need to study further in Canada to get the Job. I am member of ACCA.

Please help.

Toronto is #1 for finance, Vancouver and Montreal probably next, and then Edmonton and Calgary (due to oil).

It might be helpful to study further in Canada but don't assume that you must. Test the waters and see what you can find.

Yes, and in case DD is issued, include the DD as well.
