CIC is responding the mails on first come first basis. Latest reply of mail from CIC is 17-Sept. You have to wait another 2 weeks for getting the reply. But I wish you will get PER mail first. Best of luck..
Thanks for your reply and +1 for you

They answer emails in the order the emails are received, not the application date. For your case, please wait 2 more weeks as their response time is currently 45 days. Good luck!

Thanks TTBN

Congratulations for your MR/PCC/RPRF request. Suggest you to submit latest PCC to VO...

I did call PSK as i also have 5 month old PCC , though i have nt recv MR yet , but wanted to be prepared , but got the update from PSK call center that for the sdame country you cannot request a PCC before 6 months

That's true. But there are no appointments available for PSK for next 10 days and hence I thought of sending the PCC that I already have. I'll better wait and send all the docs once I receive latest PCC from PSK.

cannsfs, you dont need appointment for PCC, its a walk in at ITO, Herald House :)

I have urgent question. My medicals have been received by NDVO 3 weeks ago. if someone leaves current job at this point, do you still want to notify NDVO given they are already past background check.

if so, should i just send email via online query form?

Thanks,
Vishal

I heard from an unconfirmed source (this person took part in a recent CIIP seminar and heard this over there) that around Nov 15 the CIC folks would be busy with their annual employee family reunion. If so, it would mean a delay in charge/issuance of PER for late July/early-mid Aug applicants. Mine reached on 8th Aug, so I'm too facing a possible delay :(.

Having said that, if CIC does go on with this break then it would be a well deserved one for the people working at CIO. These people are certainly working hard for our betterment (it may seem slow to us, but going going through a mountain of paperwork day in, day out is certainly tedious beyond imagination). I wouldn't hold a grudge against them for this break.

PS: I am in no way certain of this news, however this was shared to forewarn others incase there is a delay after Nov 15 and people are looking for causes.

I work for CIC, you have impressed me. I will ensure your case gets processed first :P :P :P :P

An open question. is there anyone who can assume how many applications are being received a day and how many CIC can complete for completeness check. Do they do in one day or can take more days for checking 1 day's applications...

From the SS, the name is anthamsen (8th May applicant).

All the best to him :) for the interview.

Regards

This applies only to CIC employees stationed abroad. CIO employees reunite with families after 16:30 everyday.

Only a CIC employee knows what happens after 4.30 pm.

Diplomatru, Please can you process my case faster :). I will treat you well when I come to canada....... Deal!!
