Hi Optimist, this is the latest update from Royal Mail:

Status: It's on its way
Your item, posted on 22/10/14 with reference RUXXXXXXGB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in INDIA.

I have called Royal mail also, they have informed me that they can only track it until it leaves the shores of the UK. I went to the Post of office and tried to track it with the gut in the office there...they could not track it either....It is very strange for me... I am hoping to receive it in a couple of days as I dont have any choice left..

Regards,

Z

Hey dude!!

Try the below link

http://ipsweb.ptcmysore.gov.in/ipswebtracking/

Use the same POD no given by royal mail. It will tell you exactly where your courier is and then start chasing them up.

Good Luck!! PM me if you need any further details.

Seniors, can you please advise regarding PROOF OF FUNDS.

I currently have funds in different accounts. Aside from providing documentation regarding funds with application are they asking for proof of funds again before the actual landing?
Can anyone please advise?

Thank you!

Guys i have very good news for you all, after sometime of having the hesitation about the CAP updates and how it is being estimated and either for completeness check or CC charge or PER. i decided earlier last month to send an email to CIC asking about that specifically. here below the reply i got today

Dear Sir/Madam:

The website provides an estimate only of the applications included in the cap.

Until the application is checked for completeness, it cannot be confirmed as being received. Once it has been determined that the submission is complete, it is counted in the cap and the information is updated electronically. Due to high volumes of submissions, there is a lag between confirmation of receipt of a complete application and the electronic update of the cap count.

Hi,

I am May 14 applicant and my ECAS 2nd line is updated yesterday - "We started processing your application on October 30th, 2014".

When should i expect my MR? Details are enclosed below:

NOC: 2174
VO: NDVO
App Received: May 14
PER Date: Aug 21

*Spreadsheet updated*

Some applicants from NDVO are directly getting MR rather than a 2nd line update in ECAS? What difference does it make and when should i expect my MR?

~GinCan

Congratulations and good luck
+1 for ss updating

Keep your fingers crossed MR is in the way

They might ask, they might not. Just carry proof fund at the time of landing incase if they ask for it.

I have graduated in 2012 from Federal Government Virtual University (VU) with MCS degree which is 16-Years of Education. After that I got admission in MBA-2.5-Years degree in Federal Govt. Virtual University (VU) and for this MBA-2.5-Years degree, pre-requisite for admission was 16-Years of education. Since I had MCS degree therefore I was granted admission in this MBA-Finance degree. I have now graduated in Oct, 2014 with this MBA-2.5-Years degree, which is counted as 18.5 years of education by Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Can anyone guide me that, whether WES will consider my this MBA-Finance-degree (18.5-years of education) equivalent to Canadian Master's Degree? And I shall get 23-Points for Education.

OR this MBA degree (18.5-Years of education) will be considered equal to Canadian Bachelor Degree? And I shall get 22-Points for Education.

My decision of proceeding with sending application will depend on this confirmation.
Because if my MBA-Finance is considered equal to Canada’s master my total points will be 67-points and if it is considered equal to Canada’s bachelor degree i shall get 66-points.

Best regards,
George

Hi, this might be a new case:

I applied for FSW from India and given my medicals from Toronto (currently on student visa)

DVO have asked me to tell the panel physicians to sent the results to Delhi immigration office.
However, PP said that they have an electronic system and by default medical results go to Ottawa CPC and they cant manually send it anywhere.

I have sent an email query addressed to both these offices, so the medical results and linked to correct file.

Any similar case or suggestions ?

Jango!

Jango I don't have any advice for you but I just want to remark that you really are earning your visa!
