What do you mean after few days they update it? It has been more than 30 days since PER so is it safe to assume that they have started to process the application. If I am not mistaken, you are also a May 30th, applicant, correct?

I have a question regarding the UCI number.
I have traveled to Canada before on a Business Visa. Does that mean that i already have a UCI number. If so, how can i get mine? Will this be mentioned on the Visa (on passport)?

We have seen many scenarios where female applicants get pregnant before MR and the application going on hold.
what if a female applicant gets pregnant after the Medical test ? Will the application be kept on hold ?

Does anyone knows if CIC has stopped processing applications. The last update was made on 10th Oct 14. Since then there's no change in CAP details.

No they haven't stopped. People are still getting charges and PERs. They just haven't updated the cap. Updates are irregular.

Please calm down, just few pages back, someone reported CC charge and his application receipt date was 16th July so i firmly believe that your turn is just round the corner, why are you panicking.

Thanks.... but I am worried because UCI is issued as soon as files are opened. 16 July people are being charged now so completeness check must have been done a long before... But CIC is telling me that they do not have any records of recieving my application.

I am getting worried because I sent it to P.O. Box while I should have sent it to 59 dorchester street address for courier. Because it was delivered to P O Box I do not even have receving signature to tell them who recieved the documents.

Guys 2 quick questions:

1 - Did they stop updating the caps? Does anyone know why?

2 - Can I submit my application in January? Or does the program end in december this year?

The program ends April 30, 2015. You can submit your application in January no problem. But if in a warmer NOC better to do it earlier.

Haha..congrats...I have read there is practically no gap between cc and Dd charge (as perhaps dd charge is only know through bank at later date whereas cc charge is seen straightaway with a flash of message). Can seniors shed more light on this?

DDs just take longer to cash and longer for the applicant to find out. There's no difference between payment methods in terms of the timing or style of processing.

They wont update status after sending MR. They will update ECAS after approving Medical results.

Guys.

I emailed CIC 30 days ago to check status of my application as it was already more than 10 weeks I submitted my application which reached them on 17 July 2014 and today I got a reply that they are not able to find my application with the name and date of birth I have provided - so they have asked me to send them tracking number and the address I sent my application to.

As per instruction guide I sent my application via DHL to the address below.

You sent your application by courier, right? so why did you you send it to the address for regular mail?
I hope that won't make an issue!
