Almost 3weeks of waiting still no PER.

Hi,

I have a query regarding passport renewal date.

I am a June 18th applicant and received PER on October 17th. Visa office is London.

My passport is getting expired in November 2015. Country of issue : India

Do I need to renew my passport before getting MR request ? Can I renew it after MR request also. Till what stage, passport can be renewed ? How to inform VO if the passport is getting renewed ?

Kindly let me know your suggestions.

Indian passports can be renewed earliest by 12 months from expiration i.e. in your case from dec 2014 onwards you are eligible.... but since you have got PER, I would suggest don't get it renewed now... get your visa stamped ...get you sin PR card (most likely by march 2015) and then go ahead with it...
are you from delhi??? if yes it would take hardly 3 days to get it done in tatkal (i can see you VO is London ) but permanent would be Indian right so...!!
but on the contrary u need to have 6 months eligibility on you passport to travel... so wait until March at max then get it done

Re: Addition of child.

For addition of my daughter as a dependent born after getting the PER.

you may not be charged for application fees but your landing etc. fees be added up and so will be settlement fund.... as per my knowledge CIC takes applicant's condition as per date of application.. cio charged you already NDVO will do for rest i believe...
in short you will be contacted as and where required!

bro no one knows whats coming up in express entry so i would suggest
one in hand is better than two in bush ;D ;D ;D

Do we have anyone who has got verification calls from NDVO.

Asking coz the company which I worker 3 years ago is sold to a different company. And the one which I worked prior to that has shut down.

If they call my current company where I m working for past three years they might get thru the switch board as that is the HR hotline number mentioned on the ref. Letter.

Do you think it would be good to go?

My degrees and transcripts were received at WES on 16th of Oct,2014 and the status of documents in my account changed to "Accepted" in front of all of my degrees on 29th of Oct,2014 and on 31st of Oct,2014, I have received the below message:-

""This is to advise you that WES has received all the documents required to prepare your evaluation report. The report is presently scheduled for completion on 11/26/2014.Please be advised that due to high volume there may be delays in processing some orders. Please allow for additional days to receive your report. We apologize for any inconvenience. At this time, you also have the option to add recipients, purchase additional copies or upgrade your delivery choices. Please make any update(s) immediately to ensure processing with this order""

Can anyone answer my below concerns:-
1)-they will issue my ECA on 26th of Nov,2014 or they might issue it earlier?
2)-What should i do in order to get my ECA report earlier?
3)-Whether I shoudl ask additional copies of my ECA as they are mentioning or there is no need?
4)-Will it not be too late if I shall send my application after 26th Nov,2014 after receiving of ECA?

Really worried that cap might filled up up till that time. I am applying for Purchasing Manager profession.

When Will I get a reply from CIC

only one answer I have dear:- STAY HOPEFULL you have no option, its on verge on closure if someone withdraws etc. so you are in ;D

i stand corrected i just checked cap status which was updated on 10th Oct and your NOC is just 425 so you are definitely IN ;D ;D ;D

remember people have been receiving PER for 2174 after 1000 cap update so that means cap is not purely on PER it has some other criteria's as well ;D

My application reached CIO office on 10 July 2014. I have been tracking the forum and realized that application from 15,16 July were getting charged. So i figured something may be wrong, so I opened my packaged and minutely went through the photocopies and realized that on one of the forms of me and wife i have signed in the wrong section, and it may be a case where this application is not signed and god forbids may be rejected.

So I wanted to understand, if the CIC has received the application on 10 july approx when it would have verified my documents and initiated a return? Also how much time it would reach mumbai India. from the forums members have reported 30 to 45 days of return but its sounds a lot of time to receive a package.
